WHICH LEGENDERY ARE YOU GOING TO MISS THE MOST AFTER UPDATE?
For me its going to be the fatebringer, also the shadow price and corrective measures. Not a huge fan of specials so theres nothing there I miss that much, possible found verdict and the raid sniper.

1 ReplyDidn't know they were going somewhere. Seriously though, you people need to get over it. This is RPG gaming, new lvl cap means better/new gear. Why the hell would the old gear be just as good? What would be the point of the lvl increase and new gear?

4 RepliesCorrect me if I'm wrong but (because Destiny is so small and they force you to retread the same path every day) all NPCs are modified to respond to your level. If they are lower than you they will be set to 3 levels below you. So, for example, if as a level 30 you do a Patrol on Earth against level 3 mobs they will effectively be level 27. If you do it as a level 25, the mobs will act like they're lvl 22. So, with that being said, will higher powered weapons even matter in anything outside Nightfall/weekly/raids? Surely you can keep your old legendaries for bounties, patrols, strikes and it won't make any difference.

Edited by ThanatosTheHound: 12/7/2014 1:25:10 AMAll *Pre-Patch* Vanguard and crucible weapons aren't going to perform as well in PvE probably something like a 6-12% Damage Difference Vs Lv 30-32 enemies …On the bright side Deej said "In standard Crucible, your favorite Legendary items won't miss a step"…….im guessing that means in the regular crucible our pre-patch gear will be doing as much damage as any other….Ex Kostov Vs Monte Carlo= Same Damage output…LULZ Edit: VoG Raid gear will still be Viable for a few months after the update lets not kid ourselves …

The only weapons that's going to become useless are vangaurd ones. All raid primary's are unique because they deal burn damages. Which makes them useful.

1 ReplyI don't think they will be obsolete. Crucible they be just a viable and effective as before lets not forget that. And I'm not entirely sure so don't quote me but I believe only the exotics and new raid weapons will be superior damage then our current legendaries

2 RepliesOnce The House of Wolves comes out, our current Legendary weapons will be obsolete...when that comes around, I will miss: Fatebringer - I will never break it down though - it will be with my Hunter until the end of time.... VoC....oh wait, I don't have it yet.... My Arc Swarm MG. It was the first Legendary weapon that the RNG gods gave me. It is still the best MG that I have - the perks are insane. I am really looking forward to the new weapons though. I have stayed away from the spoiler threads/videos so that I can discover new weapons and bring back that kid in a candy store feeling I had when I first started playing.

You aren't losing anything. Current weapons will still be more than effective. They are simply restocking the vendors with new weapons and armor.

If you still keep them and not dismantle them you can still use them! They wont be as effective but why not? They should buff them sometime in the future

The only ones I use now are the ones that have primary damage specialties like the VOC, Timepiece, and Fatebringer and in the raid I use the Epilogue. I also use the raid sniper a lot. I don't see why I would stop using them, the primary damage type is an advantage over damage level.
