we don't know if new exotics get the 300 base, only upgraded exotics.. now the new exotics might also start at 300, but there isn't any information on that so far

Check the new update on news section theres a picture of an unupgraded thorn with 302 attack.

exactly.. it shows thorn starting at 300, that's an upgraded exotic

The thorn it shows is not upgraded at all. Meaning it was purchased or found or whatever. You don't have to have a pre existing thorn to upgrade a new one. The new exotics period start at 302. Which means if I didn't have an icebreaker and received one from a tiger strike drop it after the dlc is launched it would start at 302. That was my interpretation atleast.

Ah i understand you now , couldnt understand what you said, Obviously the new exotics are also getting 302 cause of the new light level.

not necessarily.. again it's very possible.. but we just don't know.. Vex mythoclasthsks starts below 300 and goes to 323...

Well the vex is special cause it performs bad and just got buffed, anyways lets just wait 3 more days to go.

it's also the only current weapon that has a naturally (new) maxed damage...

Look at thee new update. New exotics start at 302 even new old ones like thorn for example.

my point is it only shows that an upgraded exotic starts at 302.. new ones might as well.. but there's nothing in the update that says either way
