At this point I feel as though I'm indifferent in terms of where I stand on the DLC. Excited for some new content, and more curious on how the transition works out than anything. A few Questions: 1. "◦Each week, Xûr will possess a selection of upgrades for existing Exotics in his inventory" Does this mean bounty exotics cannot be upgraded since he doesn't offer them? Same question for Hawkmoon, is this gun going to be obsolete? 2. Will purchasing exotics after the DLC update from Xur already contain the new upgrade or still the same build but he offers the 'upgrade' for it when it's offered? If so, it appears you've given me good reason to dismantle every exotic I have and start over. 3. Is this the intended transition for all expansions? If so, why not consider a 'tiered' approach where the old content stays as is and the expansion just has new guns or the same guns with new stats/trees... heck I'm fine with just Suros 2.0. Thoughts/Suggestions: It just seems to me with the way this is being approached you're setting yourself up for a constant cycle of rebalancing the entire game instead of just balancing the new content with what is already your best effort of a balanced game. Since the game came out Bungie has poked and prodded this game to where they feel it matches both the consumer and their needs as far as how they wanted the game to be played. I really enjoy the game, and since it does appear that you're paying attention to the 'constructive criticism' side of your audience I say these things because I'd prefer for the development team to put their efforts more towards fixing bugs/developing new content than 'Nerfing' items on a biweekly basis because someone got headshot one too many times and their ego won't let them realize maybe that person is just better at the game so they repost their complaints all over these forums. The fact of the matter is your audience is very adaptable. After the new content is out there will likely be 4 different ways to cheese each boss and once it's patched there'll be a few new ways. I don't fault Bungie for that, there's just a lot of very creative thinkers/gamers out there that despite your best efforts will figure out a way to do something that was never considered before. Same goes for weapons, if I'm getting creamed in crucible by the 'OP BFG OMG FML'... I don't come here to complain, I try different strategies/weapons in order to overcome that challenge. I realize that's not always the norm for everyone but yes, I do enjoy the challenge of taking down the 'stud' running around with a fusion rifle with a 5.0 K/D. I don't want you to then Nerf fusion rifles... I want to take the time and energy to figure out a strategy to own that player. That's the fun in playing against other people and not some crappy AI. Sorry for the tangent.. I really just wanted to get across for my $$$ less nerfing more bug fixing/new content. Keep up the good work!
