Your point is still invalid. Exotics are exotics because of their perks not there attack damage. (The same as legendaries) 323 or whatever the mythoclast has is an upgrade but its not that extreme. A light level is going to make a huge difference versus that attack damage (Weapons of light). They made it seem like Exotics were going to stay at 300 and the new ones would match the mythoclats. They upgraded the mythoclasts gun because none of the raid weapons will even be available until after January when people have 30+. Your being an idiot if you think they did not do anything wrong. Just because you weren't affected doesn't mean you need to be an asshole to everyone else. you played 1 hour on Monday when the first update came out. Of course you dident loose anything because they changed the system too dam fast for your to even mess up.

Had you asked on the forums if you should upgrade your exotics people would have responded with "why?" As a reasonable person you can't honestly tell me that you think a 300 attack exotic would out perform a 323 legendary in the next hard raid. Sure some of the perks are worthwhile. Most aren't. There are reports even today of some exotics out performing exotics. Once again, the fact that current good exotics can be upgraded to still be worthwhile is a good thing. Leveling exotics doesn't take long. If you leveled good exotics prior to this week the and used them the returned more than you put into them.

I actually have 2 level 30 warlocks, Maxed Gjallarhorn, Maxed Icebreaker 2x Max Heart of the Praxic Fire, Maxed Sun Breakers, Maxed Suros, Patience and Time, helm of the dire ahamkabra or whatever it's called, truth. Outside of those being maxed I have The last word, Mida multi tool, Super good advice, invective, plan c, bad juju in some state of leveled up. I have leveled bad juju up from nothing to string of curses yesterday just to see if it's a weapon I would upgrade when Xur offers this service. The counter argument is simple. They could have easily not given us a way to level up our current exotics beyond where they are now, instead we get version 2 of the weapon that will keep them from being obsolete in a month. People complain about how much time and effort they lost, yet those same people don't take into account what they gained from having those weapons maxed. Icebreaker/Patience and time has helped me in every nightfall since I got them. Heart of the praxic fire is still the best chest it seems for a warlock. Gjallarhorn is still going to be the best heavy weapon. I will gladly upgrade those items, including both Heart of the Praxic fire I have. To relevel the armor it will take one day, that's nothing. Each weapon will take between 2-3 days. Under two weeks to have the best weapons and armor? Yea I will take that any day. In the future when you call someone an idiot, try not to make yourself look so foolish.

You actually only have 1 level 30 character. Even if you have duplicates for everything(which I doubt because you characters are level 26/30) you still get more warlocks drops using the same class. Nice try. You also only have 6/17 Exotics. I have 14/17 with the majority maxed all the way. This is why people are upset and your not. Your foolish for not looking at it from the other angle. You wont be mad because you did not loose anything.

you didn't read the end of my last post did you? You are making yourself look foolish again. I have 2 level 30 warlocks, I did the hard raid last night and finally got the chest and gloves and a third helm(this helm has different stats and I wanted to see how it added up if I were to level it up to see if the overall stat bonuses would be better than what I currently have, and to see what the whole setup looked like. I logged off like that, I have another maxed heart of the praxic fire, you know the chest that is an rng drop. It's maxed. I have a second set of raid boots that are maxed and better than the ones you can see. I have 2 iron banner gloves, one for each character. I am guessing you can't count, so lets go over this again. I have, in list format this time, 2x Heart of the praxic fire Sunbreakers Helm of the Dire whatever Suros Bad Juju Mida Multitool The Last Word Plan c Invective Patience and Time Ice Break Truth Gjallarhorn Super Good Advice Now count with me, thats 4 pieces of armor and 11 weapons for a total of 15. Of those 15, 4 pieces of armor are maxed and 5 maxed weapons. The ones that aren't maxed are in various states of being leveled up. The reason they aren't leveled up is because they are terrible anyways and there are better options for the exotic slot. Of the 9 items I have maxed, 4-5 will be upgraded through xur, the remaining 10-11 will collect dust in the vault, because once again they are terrible and there are better options.

Bro you only have 1 warlock. With 2 warlock you get double the warlock drops form raid and nightfall. With separate classes you only get 1 chance a week so technically you have played a warlock twice as long as everyone that only has 1. Lets analyze your guns then! You only own 64% of the exotics out right now and out of that you only maxed roughly 32% of them. 32% Maxed exotics... Like I keep saying. You aren't loosing anything. I dont need to read your whole post to know and tell you that. I already looked at your characters. 5 maxed weapons is extremely low. You aren't loosing much so of course you dont care. Also saying that 10-11 exotics are junk makes you look even more like a Noob. You definitely don't understand how most of them are supposed to be played.

Is funny, you understand that drops out of the night fall are random... completely random right? I have gotten 2 warlock armor items, 3 hunter armor items and 2 titan items. The nightfall doesn't care what class you are playing. The raid does, but no armor exotics drop there, and this conversation is about exotics. You tried to invalidate my argument by stating I only had 1 29. I pointed out that I actually have 2 level 30 warlocks. This is a true statement since I don't share gear. One has it's on set of 30 gear, and the other has it's own set. To address your second point. The percentage of exotics leveled doesn't mean I don't know how to use them. It means that I know they are junk. Mida is inferior to VoC, why would I level it up when it would never replace VoC? Pocket infinity or plan c? Yea neither of those would replace patience and time or ice breaker. They are both worse in pve, and only slightly better now in pvp, however I am pretty sure everyone knows that Suros was better for pvp, so once again, why would I level those up? Super good advice? Junk before the fix, still junk after the buff. Invective? In what situation is that even useful? Not in pve when gjallarhorn or icebreaker is in the mix. There are better legendary shotguns. Face it, there are very few exotics that are worth the exotic slot. And there are plenty of legendaries that can and will do better than a majority of the exotics.

Sorry dude. You have 1 warlock. You obviously arent mad because you don't have a lot of leveled exotics. You have said this yourself by the points you make. Its not completely random and if you knew about Bungies RNg you would know that there are still modifiers in the code that lean tword the drop being your class. Dont be stupid enough to think bungies algorithm is 100% random. All items have different weights in the roll. I have done every nightfall on all 3 characters and I think i might have gotten one item that was not my class. Go ahead and tell me why all those other exotics suck and ill be happy to tell you the proper use for them. If you want later I can run you through VOG normal and the weekly as well.

It's funny how many times you have changed your argument. First it was "you only have 1 29, you don't know what you are talking about" then I pointed out I actually have 2 30's and you tried to mock me because of the load out I logged out with, now it's because it's the same class it only counts once, even though you say that I have logged twice as much time the someone with one. Once again I have two complete sets for warlock to make them both 30. I have 2 characters that are 30. I personally have gotten more gear for other classes out of the nightfall than I have for warlocks. Random is random. Back to exotics. There is never an instant in which super good advice deserves to have your exotic weapon slot. Ever. It is junk, and this opinion, even today after buff, is widely agreed with. Hawkmoon, the last word and thorn are all good for pvp, but fatebringer or even the devil you know is an acceptable substitute for pve. Mida is terrible for pvp, and wouldn't be used over icebreaker or gjallarhorn in pve. Especially when vision is better. Bad juju is good and clearing trash mobs but terrible on bosses. Plan c and pocket infinity are good in pvp, but the crucible standardized weapons anyway so after the second perk there really isn't a reason to continue leveling them. Patience and time is good for arc burn nightfalls but loses out to icebreaker in every other situation. Once again, unless you are a completionist, there are very few exotics that are worth upgrading. I'm not mad because I will have the opportunity to continue using the good pve exotics going forward. The good pvp exotics still don't need to be leveled up, except for maybe iron banner. Thank you for your offer to run me through the weekly or vog, but I don't need you. I solo'd this weeks nightfall and weekly fairly easily. And I already have a vog group that doesn't need a douche.
