DON'T DISMANTLE DUPLICATE EXOTICS
Not sure if anyone has said this yet but, if you have duplicate exotics of weapons you use alot don't dismantle them. If you're like me you just leave your dupes in the vault to look pretty. Well, now you can get the upgrade on the dupes and not have to reset the progression on your mains so you can still run VoG HM and CE. Hope this helps and leave your thoughts down below.

1 ReplySeems pretty useless to do this IMO, since your new exotics Start at 300, Just use them and level them up to get the perks. I guess it depends on your current strange coin balance though.

15 RepliesYou'll have 18 bounties a day to complete. Plus very easy access to upgrade materials. How long do you think it will take to upgrade a weapon and then level it back to where it was? Not long, I'm thinking. Then you can take that weapon back into the VoG and kick ass with it.

3 RepliesSadly, I dismantled most of my duplicates, got shards, and used them to finish upgrading some of my exotics, only to find Bungie unzipping and shoving their dick in my ass for bothering to think my time meant anything.

4 RepliesYou do realize the base attack on the upgraded exotic will be 300... you will still be able to use them just have to get the perks back.. and like others have said does not take long at all to max out an exotic gun..

i'm not sure if it has to be like for like or not. i don't think you can trade a SGA for Icebreaker. i think it needs to be IB for IB type deal. not 100% on this though.

2 runs of vault of glass last night: dismantled two mythoclasts and two plan c's. Identical drops from Atheon >.> anyway I don't have room to spare in my vault at all and find it pretty easy to transfer weapons over between characters so one of each is fine by me.
