Ok I'll say it. Majority of these players have spent hours and think because they play more than someone else thier entitled to perks. Thier not and should never be.
I like these changes all of them. I'll have better gear out of it. But all those who don't are just people without strategies; they just want to be catered to.
They would appreciate it more if they'd ever played a different mmo or even thought of how useless thier blue gear became over time.

I would hope you would have better gear after all it is DLC expansion. ..but to punish players for upgrading is the stupidest thing I have seen

I agree with u man. I don't see what all the whining is about .. It's not that difficult to re-level exotic or to level new gear. And honestly I'm glad bungie is waiting to release the hard raid so all the cheese glitches can be fixed. This will help separate the good players from the exploiters that pushed atheon to get the good stuff. I view the DLC as a fresh start to prove ourselves

A) dude, it's a videogame. If you put MORE EFFORT OR TIME INTO THE GAME, YOU SHOULD GET MORE OUT OF IT. That's not entitlement, that's just rational expectation of quid pro quo. B) this isn't a discussion about blue gear, it's about EXOTIC gear C) I can't even. This post is tragic.

You're misconstrewing the reason people are upset. It's not a case of handholding for the old playersit's the opposite. The game is less than 3 months old and they're already catering to groups not even playing the game yet. All this has done is made it approachable to people who haven't played it yet. I'd be fine with that entirely myself, except now I'm being penalized for having played since September. I've wasted many materials, scrapped weapons that had no use, and blew many items and boosters to prepare my gear for future content only to be told now that I've gotta do it again. Lemme ask you this, if Bungie had told us that we'd have to redo all our exotics back when we started 3 months later would you have spent as much time doing so? It's almost an underhanded tactic at this point, if you think about it. I'm a long time fan of bungie, even if this is the stripped down version of it, so I'm here for the long haul. But this is the kind of thing that needs to be adressed and made known because it really is unfair to the majority.
