If you do truly listen then stop this now! Incredibly bad, frustrating tedious idea. Why also ask for feedback just a week before it launches? Strange behaviour.

It's being reactive to the article that came out and people started reading. A post starts to heat up and suddenly it's "tell us what you think". Won't change anything (I assume that ship has sailed 5 days from the new content), it's just trying to mitigate the backlash.
