Im completely fine with exotics resetting after upgrades, it makes sense. You have the option to leave it at 300 or upgrade it to make it do 320-330 or whatever to be put on par with lvl 32 enemies. Upgrading the weapon basically evolves it from 300- 320-330 which makes sense to have it revert back to 0 xp. if you dont want to relevel the weapon than leave it at 300 and use the new weapons in the dlc. if you want to bring weapons from vanilla into the xpac then upgrade them and relevel them and stop your crying. why does everyone need to cry and complain because the stuff isnt given to you for free or spoon feed. why even play the game then.
