Has anyone else done this? I want to make another Warlock. Any tips? I know I'm going to have to restart my faction reps, and relevel my subclasses.
I'm just finishing up a couple daily bounties, already done the raid and nightfall this week. Hoping to get my new warlock to level 30 and do the raid and nightfalls again..
EDIT: Thanks everyone for the responses, unfortunately this has not made it any easier for me... If only Bungie would just open up another character slot!
Just dropped all my inventory in the vault. Strapped on some uncommon gear....
Why is this so hard?
EDIT 2: I've already did hard raid, weekly, nightfall for this week. Just spent the rest of my marks on mats.
But I feel like I'm missing something..
EDIT 3: Alright, think I'm ready. One question tho. I am wondering if my raids completed will still count. Not sure but I think there is some kind of achievement when you hit 50 raids. So far I've got Warlock 25, Titan 12, Hunter 11
48 runs total. Am I going to have to do the 11 again? Maybe I should grind out 2 more raids tonight and then do it, what do yall think?
EDIT 4: Well everyone, thank you for all the input. I was a little overwealmed by comments earlier, I almost forgot to sleep. It looks like about 80% don't thinks its a good idea, about 10% think it is, and the other 10% just think I'm crazy for even considering it. I guess my Hunter should thank all of you for saving him, this time!
Really hope this new DLC will bring something really good to the table for Hunters, their a great class, not for everyone, but invaluable still.
Side note, now I feel kind of like an a-hole for stripping down my Hunter, (I'll buy her a new exotic when Xur comes around) lol.
Thanks again,
Happy Hunting Guardians!
EDIT 5: Sorry everyone, against everyone's better judgment, yesterday I went ahead and deleted the level 30 Hunter and created a Warlock.
He is now Level 30. Took about 9 hrs (-breaks, cutscenes) to get from 1-20, the grind is real. Going to do my fourth Nightfall, and fourth Hard Raid for this week. And I'll be ready for double drops on next weeks dlc.

Don't do it! Having three different classes is the best :)

1 ReplyPraise the sun!!

1 ReplyHope u stored ur hunter gear so all u have to do is get one to 20 and there back to 30
-
3 RepliesWhy the hunter though...
-
5 Repliesshould have put all your hunter gear in vault instead of deleting anyway. just in case
-
5 RepliesIm reseting my hunter (level 26 with raid gear) for two more warlocks to get the raid gear for my warlock quicker. Cause RNG hates me haha.

Don't forget to spend your marks on upgrade materials. Spinmetal and such

8 RepliesWhy would u want to make yet another warlock?
-
1 ReplyI'm thinking about dumping my Warlock & Titan so I can make more Hunters! I mainly use my Hunter & hate switching gear around according to what activity I'm doing. PVE Hunter / PVP Hunter / farm boy Hunter ?
-
As a Hunter main, I say go for it. The less Hunter-wannabes, the better. Go back to your filthy warlock class, plebeian.
-
22 RepliesWhy the HELL would you dump your hunter for a lame warlock?
-
4 RepliesHell if you vaulted the gear I see no problem. All you'd have to do is rank up another hunter to lvl 20 and then throw the gear on for lvl 30. Seems like a smart option if you enjoy warlocks or need more warlock gear.
-
1 ReplyI'm confused about why you want two warlocks? What's the issue with having one of each character type? There's the potential third subclass to consider. What if there's some void subclass coming for hunter that is super badass?
-
1 ReplyI did, my hunter was 28 with like 5 exotics. I only wish I would've waited to get exotic shards for them. :( Other than that I'm happy man.
-
7 RepliesI'll trade you my 30 warlock... I don't want to go through the story again for my third Hunter.
-
2 RepliesDon't do it. Hunters need to unite
-
1 ReplyDo it you won't
-
3 RepliesI recently deleted a lvl 29 titan.
-
Yeah, why IS it so hard to delete a terrible class so that you can join the master race *again* and praise the sun? #Thread

3 RepliesBetter wait for the dlc. What if the hunter is the go to character in the next raid? Remember what dad used to tell us..."boy, you can't see past the tip of your nose. "
-
3 RepliesDon't do it. 1 of each is the way it should be!
-
5 RepliesEdited by casper: 12/3/2014 5:40:07 PMI've deleted 2 lv 20 characters so far. Not 30 since I didn't delete all the gear for them. But saying I deleted 2 lv 30's sounds better than deleted lv 20's.

3 RepliesHaving multiple of same class will just mean you have a shorter time of trying to feel like you earning gear in the raid. With dlc coming out in 6 days you could potentially get all raid gear in the first 2 weeks and say "why isnt there more content"
-
4 RepliesKeep the hunter so you can get all the new doc gear
-
1 ReplyYeah...the hunter is my least favorite also. Not sure what it is...maybe the lack of her damage taking ability or the lack of a big jump.
