Apparently you can use the Sword of Crota in Cosmodrome.
I'm not sure if I am the only one who noticed. But you can achieve the Sword of Crota from a Knight in a certain caves in Steppes. You kill the three acolytes in there and there is a gold-plated Knight named Blade of Crota that gets summoned by the Acolytes. Kill the Knight and he will drop the sword and you're able to pick it up. Pretty Awesome.
Edit: Just learned that if it says "The hive are preparing the ritual", it soawned in the area around you. The sword only is only use able for about a minute. I don't know if it spawns at other places besides The Steppes.
Edit 2: Been confirmed that this event happens at other places of Cosmodrome and on the Moon.
