How to defeat the Templar now?
My raid team has only ever pushed it off the platform. How do you beat the Templar now that you can't?

Really? This is why it's been patched. There are way too many people who haven't fought the Templar the way it was intended. Get your group together and go do it. It's a lot more fun as opposed to dancing while you wait for or grenades to recharge. Trust me.

Not going to lie Templar is by far the hardest of the VoG segments when doing it legit it gets pretty chaotic fast once Minotaur start showing up. Basically went from using the sniper platform cheese to just knocking him off, and have only every legit killed him twice xD

9 RepliesEdited by Taskforcem85: 12/2/2014 1:55:32 AMUse the relic super. A Bladedancer with 100 intellect is actually the best for this job. Have your team deal with detain shield and open fire on him. Relic user should hunt for oracles while the others call them out.

you have to nail him with the Relic's Super. After the shield comes down, some members of your group will be encircled with wired cages. You have to shoot them out. Don't use explosive weapons until you bring them down by bullets. Afterwards unload into Templar. Repeat until dead.

2 RepliesNew raid in a week....pretty sure not many ppl will be running the VoG so I don't see how patching it NOW is really a concern...they would have to do something to make ppl keep playing the vault

First: use the relic. It takes down his shield. Second: he teleports Third: you shoot the stuffing out of him. Rinse and repeat until Templar is dead

Same way you cheese oracles, except just have relic holder pop out if spirit bloom cave or if your patient enough work you way up high and Jump onto one of the two middle platforms
