My raid team has only ever pushed it off the platform. How do you beat the Templar now that you can't?

5 RepliesSome of yall act like so high and mighty like "I've never pushed him off and refuse too, if you do you suck at this game". Wow. Pushing him was quicker and you got an extra chest. That's why people did it. Not because they couldn't beat it legit. It was just easier and not worth the trouble.

25 Replieswow . what a bunch of sanctemonious ass holes some of you are . The Guys been doing the raid that way since he did his first raid . lets face it we all have ...... not one of you can say that during a raid you said to the group " i refuse to push him off .. its wrong and i won't have it " no ... you pushed him off , got your loot and then onwards ....... this forum is supposed to be for our community to come together and help each other but instead you laugh at the guy ...... no need for that guys ...... but I'm sure you are all really nice considerate guys outwith this forum .....

4 RepliesIt's funny how they can fix this little glitch but they can't fix all the Hard Raid Atheon glitches I feel like they should have focused more on that

Have everyone go near the Right Conflux and stay as close as possible to the circle. You won't have to worry about Oracles because the Relic holder can cleanse everyone once they're marked, on hard you will have two Oracles spawn and only one on normal. If the Oracles spawn on the right you can kill them but that's only of you want to. If you don't kill any Oracles the Relic holder must wait until the Marked x2 appears before cleansing the group. The Relic holder will need to kill Harpies so the Special can charge faster. Once the Special is charged the Relic holder should inform the group that he/she/both is going to shoot the Templar. Everyone else should be extremely close to one another, the idea is to get the detain bubbles in one location so everyone can blast them to shreds at once. Once the detain shields are popped everyone should unload on the Templar. That's the basics of the method I've used the most. There are a few things worth noting though. When shooting the Templar make it clear that you intend to use rockets and move away from everyone when using them. Most deaths occur because of rockets, either by shooting a teammate or a Harpy. The Relic holder is the only person that should be running around killing stuff unless a minotaur spawns, when he/she/both says they're going to shoot the Templar everyone must stay out of the way. If you allow the Templar to teleport the group will need to move out of the Templar's line of site but will need to stay together. Hopefully that helps some of you, the Templar fight is actually quite fun. You can kill the Templar rather quickly if you have two Titans with Weapons of Light. One Titan will need to block the teleport and the other will need to provide Weapons of Light for the group. That's how I have obtained the 5th chest.

Two Titans on the left side inbetween bottom left Oracle spawn and mid left Oracle spawn. The red ring spawns right there on the block. When the red rings spawn have a Titan put up a bubble on the red ring. Learn how to take turns throwing up bubbles and you're good. Every time we've done it we had the rest of the team in the top right side next to the red ring location. From our experience the Templar only tried to teleport to these two locations even though there are two others in the bottom left and right sides of the map. You can do the same thing on the right side using Titans. You could also use the Warlock or Hunter as long as you can hide and stay alive behind the wall where the red ring spawns on the right side. There's no reason to do this on hard other than to prevent a normal run. With a team of experienced 30s, you could use this strat with only one Titan on each side or just one on the left. Have fun with those Minotards. THE TEMPLAR SUMMONS HIS MINOTARDS

You know what thanks for posting this. I had an idea but never actually been able to get a team that wanted to do it. I've only done the raid a handful of times so far. Had a pick up group yesterday we lost one guy at the oracles. Pushed the Templar. Got into the maze and wiped about six or seven times so everyone left but me and my buddy. We kept running around till we found it and whipped again. Found it again so know I kind of know where it is on my own. Only ever just followed. So that was good. Was my buddies first time. Sucks we couldn't finish. Hopefully this week. RL;DR. Not everyone got to learn it properly. Some of only learned to cheese. Cheers!

1 ReplyIt's super easy. Just roll with two titan defenders and have them drop shields on his other teleport spots and he will still stay on his platform he starts out on
-
This is sad. Playing the boss fight the way it is supposed to be played is easy and fun. If you go for the bonus chest it is challenging and still fun.
-
Have the relic holder run around and smash shit till his super is up. Relic holder then says "I am shooting Templars shield down" then the shield goes down and everyone shoots his eyes. Rinse and repeat, all while killing oracles.

New cheese Equip rocket launcher, look down and shoot.
-
Use either an invisible hunter or Titan bubble shield to "camp" the teleport spots to block him from moving. Then simply unload 6 gjallerhorns into him until he's dead. With 6 people with 6 full rocket launchers it's fairly easy. Even on hard.

The cheesy way saved a lot of time for us
