I'm sorry but I'm tired of these posts.
Sony forked over the cash.
And I forked over the cash for the DLC, but won't be getting all of it. /thread still pen
You are getting all of it. You are gettong the same thing that I paid for. Sony just paid more so I could get more for free.

You're getting the same exact dlc as everyone else. Sony paid for their costumers to have extra gifts, so therfore, it's additional content that Sony had to pay for. Whether people believe they are doing it to show love to their community, or they knew that it would entice the more hard core players to switch to playstation, it's all business. If neither company paid for timed exclusives, everyone would have the same exact content. Logic is a beautiful thing.

Logic is a beautiful thing, if you use it... The PS exclusive content is not something Sony paid to have developed. It most definitely would have been available to Xbox players had Sony not inked that deal. Argument in support of that statement.... If Sony had paid for it to be developed, then they sure as shit wouldn't have let it eventually appear on Xbox platforms later on. It would have been exclusive forever. Your logic is burning down...

Never once did I say they payed to have it developed, I'm not claiming to know much about big buisness, but I know Sony had to pay an extra fee so that their system owners could get a little extra. If Microsoft had payed up, then playstation would be waiting until fall 2015 to get the exclusive content. It's the way the world works. Also if a may add, playstation gets what? An extra strike and a few pvp maps (could be missing something small). I don't see the big deal, considering the ps exclusive content is ass besides the hawkmoon, I don't think you'll miss out on much.

The total amount of content is the expansion passes is what I'm mostly upset about. The day 1 stuff for the day the game launched does not bother me much. The expansion DLC chop is pretty dramatic for how much is in the expansions versus how much is exclusive to PS platforms.
-
You have to look at it without the ps exclusives. That is the base dlc, Sony provided extra content by securing a contract to bring the exclusives to the playstation. If you have a problem with the overall lack of content, than that's fine, but there is no ripping off going on here.

And Microsoft didn't jump on the train for that content. Besides, the main development console for Destiny IS the PS4, not the Xbox One, so I fail to see why Sony wouldn't promote their console like that. Business is business, and business will always elude common logic.
