Why do guns need bipods?
Seriously, what is the point of having a bipod on some of the scout and sniper rifles that are in the game? They serve zero functionality because Destiny has no system for mounting a weapon on anything for firing. They just hang off the weapon in a really awkward way and have no purpose, not even for immersion. I don't feel any more accurate knowing my weapon has one. Actually I feel pretty stupid seeing a totally unused bipod resting underslung along my rifle's barrel even as I crouch behind a half wall in perfect position to use said bipod.
Vision of Confluence and Patience and Time are perfect examples. So my kick is either remove them from the cosmetic or implement a function for them in the game (now I'm really dreaming, ha).

1 ReplySince in reality they're used for balance and accuracy, I suppose there should be an accuracy buff benefit for having them fitted or not. Or, when looking down a sight of a weapon without a fitted bipod, you get a slight wobble or drift, use bipod - completely or more accurate!

They're purely aesthetic. There's nothing wrong with that.
