Disconnected Various Codes
I keep getting disconnected while in the middle of a story mode missions. Game is completely unplayable because I can't even complete a single mission. It is VERY FRUSTRATING to get near the end of the mission and get disconnected. The codes that I have written down are weasel and bee but there have been many other.
I connect with a cable and don't use the wifi. Works fine for GTA and Blackops.
HELP!!!!!

Still getting lots of dcs tonight. My connection lasts long enough to finish one crucible match before the boot. Cant finish anything else.

10 RepliesI get disconnected every time I do anything in destiny. Error codes hawk and caterpillar at least 100 times today alone. I've forwarded all the ports destiny recommends in the documentation and it has done nothing. I am an xfinity customer with the technicolor router. I literally can't play destiny this way. Impossible to complete anything. #help

Post update still caterpillar hawk cattle and jackrabbit going on two and a half months of constant disconnects called my ISp did everything on my end a thousand time to check and see if everything is to spec and yup not my problem and Bungie offers nothing past their website and "help" forum this is total BS and needs to be fixed!

Well..... tonight was bad. So bad i got a double error. I got a bee i clicked b to back up and got a weasel...... got to the end of two different runs just to get dced before it was over....... so much for working in some vanguard rep.

1 ReplyI'm getting the same issues on xbox one. No matter what the game mode is, my wife and I both get kicked from either of our accounts without being able to finish anything. This is only happening on destiny, it is 100% on their end. Every other game we own works fine, our internet is fast, we have a solid connection. We went through the caterpillar stage, then the zebra stage, and now it is mostly weasel and bee. They are NOT fixing anything just switching up the error codes. When they do fix something it works for a week or two with minimal disruptions and then goes back to working like shit. This game is not worth wasting money on any expansions unless they can fix what they already have out, and like I have said before, ANYONE WHO HAS GONE THROUGH THESE PROBLEMS SINCE THE BEGINNING HONESTLY DESERVES FREE DLC FOR STICKING WITH BUNGIE THROUGH ALL THIS CRAP. I mean they took our money without having the game working, which is fine if they get it working in a few weeks. But it has been this way since it came out. We are not the game testers, we are paying customers that they are screwing over.

5 RepliesDude. i hate to break it to you but the ONLY response your gunna get is a typical, admit-no-fault corporate line about it being on your end and to monkey with your router/modem. Which is even MORE infuriating considering i had played PERFECTLY fine from launch till the infamous "Atheon Fix" that destroyed the game for a large portion of the purchasers due to the increase of connection errors. Seriously like NO ERRORS till they uploaded that patch after that I could make NOAH himself jelsous with the amount of animals that have flooded my screen. Shit there have been a few time were i literally spent an hour or more JUST TRYING TO GET TO THE GUARDIAN SELECT SCREEN FFS!!!!!!! serious. Seriously Bungie WTF.....release a game EVERYONE can play or admit you made it for super high end users(which doesn;t even make sense) and start giving people their money back.

I''ve gotten AT LEAST 25 different animals and bugs and tonight I got elderberry. At that point I knew that somebody is just screwing with me. PS3 BTW. GTA Online works fine and so does DC universe. This is constant. I get kicked at least 4 or 5 times in a 3 or 4 hour span. Makes story missions hell, especially since there's no checkpoints to return to.

On my PS4 the game is unplayable. I can't go into missions because of the coconut error code and I can't finish any because of the groundhog error code. The game has been like this for a week, I can't even play crucible due to the same codes. I'm at my college and using a wired connection and never had a problem until last week.

I now cannot even load a single event, whether story, patrol, or strike, without getting kicked by a bee or fly error. Completely unplayable. Unacceptable for a game that demands a constant internet connection.

I have made zero changes to my setup. Before the patch, I was getting disconnected once a week. Now, I forget to play when a mission actually loads because I'm expecting to get kicked. Unplayable. hare, bee, baboon, all errors I've been getting tonight, multiple KTOs. Never happens to me, normally get good play time without disconnect, but tonight has been terrible!

I keep getting canary error code everytime i turn on my Sony headset to chat it up. It says I have no internet. Thanks for taking the social aspect out of the game for me.

5 RepliesHey DeperEel! Both BEE and WEASEL are error codes associated with general disconnect errors. (documentation can be found [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11791]here[/url] and [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12320]here[/url]) There are currently no listed fixes, but have you properly set up your network using OPEN or Type-1 NAT, UPnP, and possibly Port-Forwarding? (Guide [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11930]here[/url]) Networking is a slow, investigative process and ruling out any issues on your side of the network greatly speeds things for the BUNGiE team. That said, the best way you can help them move forward is by continuing to play Destiny. Each time you hit an error code a full report is sent to their investigation team. I know hitting error codes sucks, but the best way to quickly find the optimal experience is by working together with the developers to RAID as many networking bugs as we can. Good luck!
