Am I raid material?
I would like to try the raid, but I don't know if I'm ready yet. Could you look at my guardian and tell me if I should try it, or if I still need to get better guns/armor.
Edit: thanks for all the helpful hints and words of encouragement guys! For all those commenting about it yes, I am working on getting a legendary primary. Also thanks for offering to take me through my first raid, but I realized I forgot to mention in the OP I'm on the 360. Sorry PS guys
Edit 2: I didn't expect get this many replies wanting to take me on the raid so I feel that I should mention that I use a kinect mic if that bothers anyone. (My normal one broke and I didn't bother to get a new one) I'm also only 16 if that's a concern. (I'm not one of those stupid annoying teens, I hate them as much as you do).
Edit 3: so we just finished raiding. We got up to Atheon then decided to back out and continue later (hopefully tomorrow).

I would recommend getting either 1) A legendary primary upgraded to energy or 2) Any void special or heavy. Not required but it'll make life easier for you. Edit: For the best results I would recommend getting: 1) Legendary Scout Rifle - Scouts are good all around guns. Leads to my next point: 2) If that sniper is your only legendary special, pick up a void special next chance you get even if rare (preferably fusion rifle for versatility, sniper is also good option but you already have a distance weapon via the scout rifle). 3) With the above 2 and since you already have a legendary in heavy you are fine as is.
