Mostly because it pretty much guarantees everyone's safety as long as no mishaps such as falling off occur which is a lot less likely than someone getting blown up by a supplicant, also relic user can get to middle instead of having to wait for the other two to cleanse them basically makes sure the relic holder doesn't also get blown up, allows all players to use a weapons of light bubble and inflicting massive damage from 5 players from one point while staying safe, you know, the usual, its not like its the best method you know.
