Which setting do you think would be best for an Assassin's Creed game?
Personally, Victorian London seems like a cool place for an Assassin. Lots of narrow streets and tall buildings, complete with corrupt workhouse owners to stab. What's not to like?
What do you guys think?
The most popular idea so far is Feudal Japan by a long shot, followed by the present and the Cold War.
EDIT: My most successful thread yet!

1 ReplyThey should do a African American assassin who once was a slave and saved by a assassin of the creed then do something dealing with the underground rail road. I believe it will be a great game. It can kind of be like red dead red redemption.

Obviously it's been done, but Renaissance Italy is my favorite. The American Prohibition Era might be cool, too. So much violence, corruption, and secrecy in that time that it's almost perfect for an Assassin.

1 ReplyI would love to see an old west style assassins creed. I also think the assassins/Templars could have a massive story based around the civil war.

They did post Rome with Ezio, but what about Rome when it was in its full power. Traveling between the many cities of the Roman Empire, dodging legionnaires marching to conquest, even visiting Carthage!

I think Renaissance Italy is the best they could've ever done. I don't think there is a better setting they could use.

8 RepliesNothing past the mid-1800's, and no more America. AC works best in European countries that are actually historically interesting. I'd like Asia though. Something like the Ming Dynasty or Feudal Japan.

Anything that allows us to explore history that ideally is older than America's birth. Feudal Japan would be great.
