There's a hunter cloak that the speaker sometimes sells called the Cult/Trinary Star. The description reads as follows.
The mark of the Trinary Star, the hidden cult who curse the Traveler's light.
I don't know about you, but this sounds like the kind of thing I'd be interested in learning more about. For instance, what is this cult's goal? Why do they curse the light of the traveler? Could they possibly be guardians who were corrupted by darkness long ago? Who is their leader? Who founded the cult? How do you join? Will we ever be able to join?
Just some thoughts. Discuss if you please, I'd be interested in what you have to say.

1 ReplySo far, The Trinary Star Cult is a group that believes the Traveler came to Earth not to benefit the human race but to use us as a proxy to keep the Darkness off its back. That the Traveler is no better than the Darkness we fight. They would probably have factored into the OG Destiny story as Crow's affiliation that kidnaps you. I'm hoping we get to see more of them and their reasoning in later expansions.

2 RepliesLets be honest the traveler is the enemy of humanity. He's been hunted by the darkness. He then flees to earth uses us as meat shields tries to run, the warminds disable his abilty to run thus he is forced to fight. Sounds to me like he's our enemy not our friend.

1 ReplyThis could be a great story & plot twist that could potentially cause guardian vs guardian battles for a real free roam world besides the enemy ai present. I'm very interested to see if there are any plans for this piece of lore
