If we are talking within the same network (PS4 with PS3 and Xone with 360) then yes that should have been implemented from day one. I read something on Forbes about the reason it wasn't done was because of those on the PS3 crying about the PS4 users having an unfair advantage on tech aspects....THAT IS BOGUS! Thats like a PC gamer complaining about someone else having a better build than them. It's not an acceptable excuse for getting your ass kicked. It would make for a much bigger community and make it so much easier for people to play with their friends who either can't afford to invest in a new system or just too invested in their current system. I have both PS4 and PS3 and I know I am not buying another copy of Destiny just to play with more people...I rented it for my PS3 before I purchased my Destiny Bundle PS4 and it's the same game. Bungie if any of your representatives are reading this please take this into consideration. It would make it so much better for the community as a whole.
