This new patch of yours to fix scaling has totally screwed single players. I can't do the Nightfall anymore it is so unbelievably hard to do alone. THIS. IS. THE LAST. STRAW.
What's that? Nightfall is not supposed to be played alone? Then why don't you include some sort of in game chat where I can look for group.
What's that? I can look for a group on a website message board? Looking for a group should have been done as an in game feature you inept, amateurs. Outside sources should be a help, not a necessity.
Hell, why can't you include matchmaking for the Daily, Weekly, Nightfall, and Raids? It is not how you "intended"? All I am hearing is that you are not giving us the CHOICE to play this game however we want.
I tried to love this game so much. Destiny and Arkham Knight were my must have titles when I got my PS4 in January. It had so much promise. Now that I have it, Destiny is just so ... lacking. Gameplay mechanics are excellent. Your worldbuilding was awe inspiring but your worlds are so empty. I can see birds and other things in the sky, but where are the land animals? Story was mediocre, but I could live with that. Grinding for upgrade items is annoying, but I could live with that too. I'm not even going to talk about exotics. The lack of matchmaking for high level areas doesn't make sense. I an MMO, an instance of a map would have hundreds of people playing on it so you can find random people to join with. Most MMOs have a global chat feature. Each instance of your maps can hold at most 15, 20 players? What are the chances those people are seeking to play the same thing? To have no in-game, global/regional communication options other than clicking on random people is insane. Having to make friends with random strangers just to play a freaking game feature is stupid.
I rate Destiny 6/10, Bungie 4/10. "We’re having conversations about how Matchmaking might support the more challenging activities in Destiny." That was in October. I have lost hope of you obstinate bastards changing your minds.
I AM DONE WITH YOU BUNGIE. Never has a game company enraged me on the same level as you have. It is time to move on. There are so many games and game companies out there vying for my money. Bungie is not worthy. I regret buying the collector's edition for this game. 3 months is more than long enough for you to to find a way to make it easier to Look for Groups within the game. Warframe (for example) has a message board in game. It has bots to moderate them. It's a freaking free to play game. How can a free to play game be better than Destiny in this regard?
You are no longer a AAA company in my mind.
I am not going to get Destiny 2.
I AM NEVER GOING TO BUY A BUNGIE GAME. EVER.

I agree wholeheartedly with what you're saying, I've played Destiny for years and I've tried so very hard to love it but the news around ROI has put an end to that. The fact that not long after TTK and the april update they are ending most of the support for Destiny as soon as ROI comes out is a kick in the nuts if not out right insulting! If i'm going to be upgrading to next gen they can think again if they expect me to buy Destiny, the taken king and then another expansion. Especially when there are other better games out there. For -blam!-s sake warframe is better and is free to play!!

I agree. It's like they have a 2 person staff dedicated to the game right now. Also, for the amount of time spent creating the SRL content you would think it would occur more than once or twice a year. Especially since they are starved for fresh content. The April update was more of a slap in the face than a reward for being a faithful player. So frustrating! Do better bungie.

I dont even care to try so ill just sputter bits and pieces of it: exploitational, abusive, linear, guided, forced, deceptive, hollow, cheap, spineless, blind, corporate, bland, cruel, bully, evil. Bungies development strategies and plan for this game are characteristically evil and I blame microsoft ultimately because its an inhuman, untrustable company. I cant believe I paid into this huge scam and supported this meglomaniacal modern menace called bungie. Its over bungie. Im never touching anything Bungie again. And I will desperately try not to involve myself with Microsoft although that will be much more difficult. This may be a small videogame hobby compared to larger cultural issues but it represents a malignant trend in corporate goals and tendencies that is building momentum in a horrifying way. Im done putting up with digital cruelty. Im going elsewhere. Sorry it took until after I paid for The Taken King to realize im better than this.

I agree with most of this but there's no way you could run the Raid in a way that wouldn't make you want to make yourself a corpse via matchmaking. Strikes are not raids. I am not sure about the Nightfall. It might be the same. I do 100% agree with the in-game communication tools (not just LFG). It's feels like your intelligence is taken from you and you're just some unintelligent life, or under some kind of curse when you see people and unless you're in a party with them you absolutely cannot communicate in any way. To tell them what to do, what you're doing or anything else. It's abso--blam!-ing-lutely ridiculous. You SHOULD be able to communicate with all players you see. I was running around Mars doing my Exotic sword quest and I see that someone else found an item of the same items I'm picking up, and doing a mission and I'm alone, in need of a group, and I see another guardian that I suspect is doing the same mission, but nope. No way to -blam!-ing communicate. Just invite with NO -blam!-ING communication so they have no idea whytf you invite them. Then, I see the guy vanish as he goes into the instance, and that's how I know I was right. You see BUNGIE... this stuff is just so damn unnerving that when I think about it my words become littered with profanity. It is just completely ridiculous that you cannot communicate with fellow players unless you meet them outside of the game.

I got the expansion pass with the bundle I bought, I am however never, ever buying from these incompetent, delusional trolls again. Selling out Halo and now this... It's simply disgusting. If you look at the lies Bungie employees spouted in the dev diaries and interviews prior to Destiny's release you can see how corrupted they've become. These people are money grubbing degenerates that once formed a brilliant developer house, this house has crumbled and collapsed under the weight of their own greed and lust for more money. Releasing crap like Destiny and not even having the balls to step up and admit they were wrong, still not having fixed a single issue with the game in the past three months... Ef them, they lost an old fan.

1 ReplyIm not going to lie but i agree with you. Bungie is slacking on things that should of been included from the beginning. There are plenty of references from other mmo games they could of got inspired from. But because they teamed up with Activision they decided on being lazy as possible. Point example call of duty games. They produce they same exact game year after year with the minimal amount of differences like camos and maps witch are nothing. I hope bungies actually reads these feeds and realize that they are not doing there job and only ruining there reputation in the gaming community.
