Modern day christianity's belief system is ironically founded on villainizing the beliefs of pre-existing/competing religions that were around at its initial stages. For example there was a very prominent religion whose deity was the form of a snake and thus you have the snake becoming the ultimate symbol of evil in christianity. Watched a documentary on it it was all very cool but thats the only specific example i remember unfortunately.

Thanks. Most ppl don't realize the trickery. The snake Is not a bad symbol orginally. You always have some Neanderthal based demon king stabbing a serpent. The conquering of the moors. Pls look up the history of the moors.

Nah. Satan and God have been around since mankind had moved on from a hunter-gatherer society, and created specializations. One of the first jobs was a religious shaman who believed in spirits and the first forms of God and the Devil. That ideal just continued to spread and evolve over time until our current religions existed.

Not exactly; these specializations came along when agriculture became a thing. Not long after that did these societies create a form of writing. These symbols came around the same time as religion started. In fact, the first society to even base their writing off of religion were the Egyptians.
