Your Iron banner rank, also what you learned???
Well I've worked my but off to get to rank 5, and finally buy that golden shader. Let me say well worth it. Iron banner was a challenge. I did good in it. But I also learned how much you need to rely on team mates. Im a solo guy, going on my own, but iron banner you need someone to tag along with yea. But now I'm done with the iron banner, and wondering who is still working on it, who has finished it, and what you have learned.
Edit: Wow so much people still posting. All I could hear all day was my phone buzzin. Was awesome though everytime I herd it buzz. :D

2.5 but after watching a couple of youtube videos of the IB autorifle I am going to stop the grind. It does not look good and it was the only reason I started as nothing else seems really all that great. I will probably pick up some armor at 3 but will be done at that point.

Rank 3, last IB...and I learned that I like Battlefield 4 PvP so much better...and that if I want that armor or weapons, then I need to keep grinding.

Got to rank 3 today and didn't get any package in the mail. Thought I would for hitting rank 3, guess not. Done with that fusion rifle fest.

Rank Zero, Ive learned that this kind of grind is pointless as anything in this will be obsolete in 3 months anway! Mind you everything we have now will be obsolete in 3 months but, had they done a chest piece or helmet to go with the 2 new weapons I may have jumped in but, Im not wasteing my time this time around!

0.0 Nothing worth it this time. I've had better success with Exotics dropping in Crucible, so I've just got my PvP fix there. Plus, I really want to get Eris to 3 so I can cap my Murmur and don't want to detract from that time.

I also learned passing up the Regime makes me fodder. edit: I was just telling my 5 y/o son why I only wanted to rank up to 4. his reply - "don't you want to rank up in Crucible?" :OI

5 RepliesAt 3.25. Shooting for 4 to get the sleeves. I love the armor from Iron Banner. Does rank 4 get you a random piece of IB gear? Anyway, what have I learned? People in PVP in this game must not play many shooters in a PVP setting. I wasn't getting much help at all from matchmaking. Rough, rough sledding.

Edited by TeKnoVKNG23: 12/19/2014 9:06:45 PMThis is the first time I've tried it. I'm almost rank 3, but the main thing is you have to have a solid team or you're just going to get crushed. I'll go 1.5 k/d one game with a good team and then it switches it up and I can barely pull a 0.50 k/d with bad teammates. Also you need a maxed out Suros Regime since that's all anyone seems to use and it has a ridiculously fast kill time at all ranges. I've seen guys rushing with shotguns 5 feet from the Suros user and he still mows them down.

Lol @ all the noobs who didn't get the shaders last time.. I got the shaders in the first IB. they are worth ranking up. But if you already have them there's no point in ranking up

The only reason I do iron banner is for the 5 or 6 easy bounties , 30k exp if I'm not mistaken
