I went from zero to five by Friday. I wanted the Scout Rifle and I wanted to try to reforge it into something that more suited my play style. Ended up with Luck in the Chamber, explosive rounds and Third Eye. Also reforged the fusion rifle to have better hip fire accuracy, reduced charge time and kills with it reduce my grenade cooldown. Can't complain.

I reformed my fusion rifle, got decent perks and arc the first time thought "I can do better". Nothing but crap after that. Now I need more motes.

Same thing happened to me. Took two days to get more motes and a good reforge. The 2nd one I bought just reforged good on the 1st time.
