Do you have Pvp Lag?
Dear Bungie, it seems that almost every Pvp game i play has Lag. Whether it be enemies teleporting all over or the inability to even damage anyone. To the times when you kill someone THEN they die, or the more subtle postmortem melee kills. Please work on your servers.

I gave up on destiny PVP it's the only game that I have constant connection issues. Titanfall pvp, ran amazing Battlefield pvp runs amazing on 62 player servers Destiny pvp *insert troll face*

Every game at least 1 person has lag. It's annoying but I'm good so nbd.

Sometimes..but it's not because of bungie's servers. It's my internet because when I reset my internet and start playing it runs just fine..

I played a match in Clash (PS4) the other day (I want to say Monday) where the opposing team were not able to be killed by any of my weapons. It was weird, because my friends on my fireteam was asking why I am just kneeling in one place and not moving around, I told them wtf! I am running around trying to kill these guys here. The opposing team acted as if they weren't able to see me, since they would run pass me as if I wasn't there. Half way through the match, I notice the only things I was able to damage and kill the opposing team with are my melee attacks. When I knew that I went on a 15 kills streak, since they acted as if they couldn't see me, my friends thinking I am not even moving at all from their screen and so I told everyone that if they noticed their weapons are not hurting the opposing enemies, than to melee attack them to death. We won and barely did, but was it oh so very satisfying.

I love when guys run into a room three times in a row but they just loop out of nowhere and you shoot them when they first appear then they loop again you shoot that guy again he loops again shot him a third time then die as he appears behind you and shotgun blasts you in the back in New to pvp but I've seen this a bunch of times similar to this not this exactly that would be odd

Only recently I try to shoot people and they get blasted by my shotgun 16 or more times but I can't seem to die either

Not every match or every player, but sometime I will get a dick running around with a shotgun who lags so much there will be a solid two seconds between kill and death. Like "One Mississippi two Mississippi"

I have great internet but says I'm always 1 bar. Wtf? But yes, I stay away from the crucible because of lag

5 RepliesRed bars are becoming more common and more ridiculous. These kids don't get shots registering against them consistently and always get shots on you before they actually have LoS on your screen. It really needs to be addressed.

Even with red bars, I die to network lag. I have never kill swapped so much in a game ever.

Edited by Guorium: 1/5/2015 9:05:07 AMI asked them about this in the help section. They blame my ISP for slow internet speed. It is not slow, I down updates like 1.5mb/s. I know it is not the best speed around town but it is far from slow.

I wish I could say it is a lag problem, but a majority of the time it's more of an exploited lag switch problem. Really wish Bungie, and more over Microsoft or Sony would do something about this problem. It's on par with jail breaking your system in order to manipulate multiplayer servers. It's obvious that it is a lag switch when players only lag when they get in over their head in a gun fight. All their actions and attacks damage you instantly, but your hits don't register until some period after you and probably your nearby teammates are dead. For example, you see an enemy kill a teammate and then you slash the enemy with arc blade several time or land some other super directly on them, only for them to survive your hits and then die to the person they killed moments before.

I never had it until recently, every single match I go into now has mostly red bars, including mine most of the time.

I hate getting into those games with people that seem to teleport from one spot to another and don't take damage when they look to be stuck on a wall...

Problem is I assume MOST people's internet aren't that bad, I play with a yellow bar in everything else besides PvP.

I think that it's that less people are playing the PvP, so the networking is less picky with matching you with more local people. My KDR has ... definitely dropped a little. It's hilarious that the folks with poor connections come out on top with them.

Gotta love it when i blast someone point blank with a shotgun only to watch them take no damage, continue to gun me down and then die one second later and say i killed him. This has happened to me in both Destiny and Battlefield 4.
