I'm sick and tired of people complaining about how OP bladedancer hunters are when the more than likely know nothing about how hard it is to play it. We have the longest health recovery time, the worst melee, and the 2nd worst super. The only real advantage we have is blink and even then we're not the only ones with it (When we really should be). Our arc blade defence was nerfed by 75% so we can't run into a crowd of two or more without freaking out about where the other person is, go up against someone with an invective, or someone with with their super. I'm not saying give us all of our armor back but at least some of it. We don't stand a chance against most supers without it.

Edited by Velexia: 11/25/2014 8:46:12 AMI noticed a nerf. Not specific to Iron Banner by the way. I only did IB for 2 days. Either 1.0.3 or the patch note-less 1.08
-
Where does it say Bladedancer was nerfed?
-
Not nerfed. Do you know about IB? And how level advantages are ENABLED?
-
Haven't noticed a nerf to Arc Blade at all. I still completely wreck faces with it in PvP. Whether it's Iron Banner or Crucible. PS; The last grenade on the Bladedancer skill tree absolutely owns. Pop a few rounds in a guy an throw it, usually results in death. Or pop it in a group of enemies, takes all of them down to 3/4 to 1/2 armor. Learn to play before you whine.
Our arc blade defence was nerfed by 75%
Ummm what? When did this happen because I read the weekly notes and I've never seen anything indicating a nerf to the Bladedancer. I typically run Gunslinger when I'm on my hunter so maybe I just missed something but could you please point us to your source that backs up that claim that it was actually nerfed... and by 75%?

Edited by Kurasaki: 11/25/2014 8:21:07 AM"Longest health recovery time...worst melee...2nd worst super"... Do you understand how to play this game...because as a titan main and a hunter secondary...I can tell you your doing it wrong, especially considering your first point is your worst...you can literally alter every perspective of any class, including but not limited to maxing out armor, agility, or yes...Recovery... And finally as any definitive constructive critcism of your post would be mute I'll just keep it concise and simple...If your being outgunned during your (bladedancer)super...your a bad player...not an underpowered hunter

"The only real advantage we have is blink and even then we're not the only ones with it (When we really should be)." In all fairness the game states that warlocks taught hunters how to blink so really warlocks should be the only ones with blink if your thinking of it that way lol. But I have to say arc blade is one of the best supers in the game I've seen a hunter take out a whole squad before using that super. I don't feel they are op or nerfed to hell just like the other two classes they have their strengths and weakness and IMO arcbade is a big strength lol
-
Fella, you are just wrong! Plain and simple. I've seen bladedancers (LAST NIGHT) take out 4-6 people no questions. There isn't a single other super capable of that in the game unless you line up a six man team against a wall and let a striker or voidwalker hit them together. Bladedancers are the ONLY class that give me the heebiejeebies in PVP because of their arcblade. Almost everything else is defendable. While arcblade is in fact defendable, it is considerably more difficult to defend. Quit cryin!

Lol I shot one twice with TLW and when he lunged I shot gunned him. He had between 25-50% shield plus all his health left. Bungie does not know how to balance.
-
Bruh I had a BD and that things lunge with auto aim is so cheap. Even without health perk i was still able to multikill my first bd, within my second day I got Gutted medal
-
I feel like the damage reduction is reduced in iron banner. Nt only do i get killed a lot using it ive been able to take some dancers down before they close the gap
-
Not sure what nerf you're talking about. I've shot at a couple bladedancers today and they still tank junk as much damage as before.
-
Edited by Prof Sheitbag: 11/24/2014 9:31:51 PMWhat are you talking about? My Blink Strike can take down a titan to 1/4 of their health, and with the crazy regen time I have on it (literally a second) I can blink strike him again before he knows what is up! I had an absolute blast this past week on IB using my bladedancer - I even stopped a titan from doing his super with my super. They "nerfed" the time extension on the super months ago, and for good reason - you could literally maintain a super for minutes wreaking havoc. And sure, hunters are "squishy" (i.e. poor armor and horrible recovery time) but if you know what you are doing, you can easily make up for those drawbacks with hunter's speed and maneuverability. My blink jump with my super had a group of 3 titans running scared, and simultaneously dropping their shields (even though it did them no good!) And, honestly, if a striker or a voidwalker does their super, no one survives. Increased armor is not going to help you there, bud...
-
You mean you expect to get more than 4-6 kills while the others generally get 2-3 kills with their supers? You expect more damage reduction, more speed, and a faster, 1 hit kill homing melee attack?
-
your insane
-
I hate that word nerfed LOL
-
That is just too bad now isn't it!
-
Blink was originally a method used by Warlocks, which the Hunters then "borrowed". Lore speaking, Hunters should not be the ony class with blink.
-
Edited by little wolf 599: 11/24/2014 3:18:19 PMYou are not supposed to survive a super
-
Cry more and get better
-
Why dont u ask for the gorgons killing gaze as your melee as well.. Ffs
-
Yeah we can, you just suck. I gutted an entire team guarding Bravo on Firebase Delphi.
-
Since when did Arc Blade get nerfed? What the -blam!- are you talking about?
-
This is the first time I've ever heard someone say Arc Blade is a bad super, at least meaning it's weak. This is deserving of something special. +1 Exotic Tear
-
Two things: 1) hunters learned how to blink from the warlocks, don't even try and say hunters had it first 2) of course people are going to super you, if it means stopping a bladedancer from flying across the map and killing 4 enemies, then yea, I'd say everyone would use their super to stop them
-
Mad cuz bad.
