Discovered this new style through a friend the other week.

Found it interesting, its only being done in Germany, and its getting a ton of flak from the american tattoo industry. Mainly its being described as photo-shop on the skin. Its looks to take an insane amount of skill to pull off. I've taken to it so much I'm doing some paintings in this style to try and emulate.
So i know the flood loves its opinions, and id like to know your thoughts on the style, as far as a new emerging art form, as well as validity as a tattoo style.
This isn't about what you think of tattoos, but rather the style of tattooing and its validity as an art form applied to painting and sketching.
Posted by: capitonRender007 I had seven, now i have three. Gotten used to just merging and slowly building. Starting a steam punk/cyberpunk gore with a secondary b/g sleeve piece next month for a festival. 12 hours to sit i think.
Nice. Longest I've ever sat for a session was somewhere around 6-7 hours. Wasn't a festival or convention though.
