Should XUR sell materials for coins?

1 ReplyAgreed. I need so much spinmetal to upgrade my armor and weapons and yet I hate farming so I rarely do it unless I decide to do the patrol bounty with a friend or two then we run around doing those while farming

Only if they were outrageously expensive, like 5 coins for 15 materials. Materials are stupid easy to get I have almost 100 of each because I just made a new character and picked them up as I played. If your too lazy to get them yourself they should be have to pay more then they are worth.

Me n my friends were just speaking about this yesterday n I don't see why it makes so much sense We are always annoyed at the fact we need these upgrade materials to upgrade our weapons n gear.

if not him, then bring in a new vendor that has materials for sell. The tower has tons of room to add more vendors, look at all the empty spots where the IB guy is at. All alone back there.

While I agree that you should be able to buy materials, I don't think strange coins and xur is the way to go. They should be available all week.

1 ReplyJust to clarify I'm not bumping I don't know if I agree with this one. I feel as if people wouldn't farm anymore, which I'm pretty sure is something Bungie intended to try to keep as close to MMO's as possible. Some players I know have 75+ strange coins, that might give them tons of material. I WOULD agree to paying for materials with glimmer, as the iron banner did for this week, and it works very very well I feel my glimmer is very well spent
