The only upgrade the raid boots has is extra heavy ammo, and the two iron banner boots for each class has either extra auto rifle and scout rifle ammo. No real difference.

I have both boots. IB look WAAAAAAY cooler (hunter). By the heavy ammo will come in handy more for dat gjallarhorn! 8 rockets is so much better than extra auto...besides I usually fun hand cannons anyway!

All raid SETS have an upgrade to produce orbs one of two ways. On the hunter its the gauntlets. Other classes I dunno. But extra ammo just isn't significant in the raid.

It'll help if you wanna hold the relic but its not a huge difference if you're good at the game and not trying to be a -blam!-ing hero. If the gear makes you 30 cool. But the hardest piece to get is a helmet so unless you have the helmet and don't have the other three. Congrats. But its not the same as having the ability to create orbs by killing vex

The proc rate for producing orbs is so incredibly low it's worthless lol.
