VoG Gear = Grind once a week and hope RNG gives you what you need. IB Gear = Grind reputation and purchase what you need. Either way you have to grind. One is a week grind, taking anywhere between 10-20 hours of playtime depending on your W/L ratio. The other is a weekly grind, taking anywhere between 1-3 hours depending on how many characters you have. So, in IB you can grind for 10-20 hours and be guaranteed a piece of gear that will help you obtain level 30. In VoG you can grind once a week per character, about an hour a run, and not be guaranteed anything but disappointment. Doesn't matter which way you obtain level 30, as we all know just being level 30 isn't an indication of skill by any means.
