Whereas raid armor is given randomly in a lottery system, you do actually have to work for and earn Iron Banner armor.

I've mindlessly ground my rank up to get the gear, it takes no skill. Raid gear is harder to get.

I don't know. We all know Raid Gear is random. But for that piece of gear you must kill a boss or even complete the Raid for it. So skill = chance for best gear. Whereas, having a .5 k/d every match and getting carried to then be rewarded with "Raid Quality" gear is a bit less earning it than obtaining your piece from surmounting a task in an environment that requires teamwork.

If people are THAT bad in IB they will struggle to complete the bounties and have little chance getting ranked up enough in just one week

Losing 5 matches and then winning 1 = 100 rep. I could reach Rank 4 in 2 days that way. Plus the buff is then 250. Too bad Raid is necessary anyways. Helmet or Chestpiece for 30.

This. Also, if you lose more than 5 in a row, there are no rewards. In order to rank to 4, it takes a mix of skill and persistence.

Everyone is able to run the raid in their sleep at this point. It's not that hard. It's possible to run the raid dozens of times and never get any armor. It's bullshit.
