Tempering is Decreasing Level advantages in Iron Banner
I am consistently seeing Lvl 26 and 27's dominating in Iron Banner today. In the first two days of Iron Banner they were laughably underpowered. Now, it's just like normal Crucible. If Tempering is working this way, it's completely eliminates the entire purpose of Iron Banner.
Anyone else noticing that Low level people are getting a lot more effective in Iron Banner?

YES, I can read the description about tempering as listed, but today, it's not what's happening from what I'm seeing.

Yes. Also I was using a Suros and Light/Beware because they were maxed out. But then I tried my none upgraded Vanquisher and Invective and did not see any significant difference between maxed and none maxed weapons in iron banner again :(

Lollllllllll the 12 hour buff has nothing to do with damage it's an XP boost. I moved all my maxed out weapons to my secondary character (level 27) and was still able to hold my own against 29-30s. Maxed out weapons mean to world

I took my 25 titan in for giggles with some max weps from my main. Definitely made up for the difference in level. But higers levels were still out dueling me due to armor value.

Tempering gives you an experience boost. It has nothing to do with weapon or armor stars...

1 ReplyThey probably had high level weapons, a 300 attack weapon still deals fearsome damage even if it's a level 20 wielding it.
