Nice post but the iron banner is STILL slightly broken as a level 24 shouldnt be able to 1 hit with melee a level 29.75 and the 29.75 also melee the 24 but the one who dies is me the lvl 29.75 also in the banner they lay me down as easily as a higher level and i dont do jack to some of them and others just crumble all levels that are almost equal to me seem very well balanced though, its just these really low level people shouldnt b able to melee SO EASILY in IRON BANNER, regular crucible ok but the banner, wheres my level advantage because great weapons can be shared between charachters so if yhose make a low level a credible threat (whicjh i can see) and the melee is like reg crucible then i have no advantage........arrrgghhhhh.. Im not bad at PVP and im not great nut when i play banner as opposed to reg crucible and it says LEVEL ADVANTAGES ENABLED i EXPECT at a higher lebel than a 24 to have an advantage (bungies words- a player 3 or more levels higher than the other will seem like a boss) HASNT HAPPENED YET

 • Why do people seem to think that "level advantage" translates into "Mantle of Invincibility". The only "one-hit" melee in the game is when you get hit with another player's super...and if another player catches you out with their super (regardless of level) you deserve to die. End of story. Otherwise, you were already damaged, and the lower level player's standard melee was probably charged, and simply finished you off. Bottomline, I'm LOVING this. I'm playing IB with my level 29 Hunter, and seeing a very noticeable difference versus the regular Crucible. In the regular Crucible I was losing EVERY face-to-face firefight, and many times I was dying so fast that I had little time to actually learn from my mistakes. I've played this IB from scratch, and after only a few hours of play over the course of one day....I'm already Rank 2. I'm breaking even in most firefights with players of equal level, and generally only losing those 1v1s to lower level players when they simply bring a better weapon to the fight. Yesterday I went up against a level 25 who was armed with a MYTHOCLAST (can you say SECOND CHARACTER?!?!?!), and a ton 25s and 26s who were probably running around with maxed out Suros Regimes. Which was the the only autorifle my maxed Shadow Price seemed to be consistently losing to. Oh well. Of course it worked the other way too. I ran into the some level 30s that I was just POURING rounds into and they just didn't want to go down. I don't know about you, but I'm having fun...and this IB is turning out to the be the experience that I had HOPED the regular Crucible would have been. I hope Bungie is taking notes on this. Because if the Crucible played more like this...I'd play in it a LOT more often. But stop wanting to run around like Superman...and you'll enjoy the event more.
