The most important thing is to have a Suros and Invective fully upgraded then you don't need skill. Just run around randomly shooting into the air and you'll filter up to the top of the scoreboard.
It also helps if you can regenerate health while being shot and if you can throw a Nova Bomb every 14 seconds.
