Why is Nova Bomb invincible, but Fist of Havoc is not?
I can't tell you how many times a guy has a sliver of health left, activates Nova Bomb, kills me and gets out of it. I try to do the same thing with Fist of Havoc and get slaughtered. FoH should have the same effect as Nova Bomb, especially since you need to be the immediate area to use it effectively, as opposed to Nova Bomb which can be used from a safe distance.
Golden Gun and Knife Prancer are still super gay.

Nova Bomb isn't invincible. There's an exotic piece that gives you more health when using it though. I kill Nova Bomb users plenty of times. Not more than they kill me, of course.

My golden gun beat the crap of a "foh" last night. On mid air!

Golden gun and arc blade should be invincible for the entire duration

2 RepliesIt doesnt make you invincible, the skull of dire ahamkara gives them invreased defence while using it but otherwise i find myself dying a decent amount before i vsn fire my nova bomb. Of course when i do fire it, i hit the top of a doorframe or a rock and nearly kill myself anyway.

Edited by Poeghostz: 11/20/2014 12:52:25 AMEither your trolling or you don't have the Titan perk activated that states: "When fist of havoc is activated, the guardian becomes invincible to all sources of damage until the channel is over. If you were on low health and the damage that hit you as you activated fist of havoc would have killed you, this damage is ignored". Titans are invincible when using that super :(

Funny, I seem to die mid nova bomb and have difficulty killing titans during FoH all too often...

Lol I have shot someone close range with a shotgun and used my melee. Guess what... It didn't kill him-__-. Their melee has just as much range as warlocks too. All Titans do when they get shot at is run towards you and kick you from like 7ft away. Also apparently they don't take damage during that animation. If they had blink, they would the best class.

Do you have the damage reduction ability attached to fist of havoc? I noticed the same problem when I took it off

You can die casting nova bomb, the differance is cast time if you are jumping a long distance they are more likely to kill you then a guy throwing NB. The other advantage of NB Is that after it is fired people will try to dodge instead of trying to kill you. Next time you are in this situation accept your fate and go down fighting

I can tell you right off the bat that is false. I was shooting a Titan yesterday and he had maybe an eighth health left and I stabbed him right before he FoH and he lived.

the same exact thing happens to me with FOH all the time. Whats worse is i shoot a titan with a shotgun at point blank and he uses FOH and all of a sudden a kill shot barely takes him down a quarter of his health. I think to an extent all the supers grant some kind of insane damage reduction because it is harder to kill any class mid super

Foh slaughters me 1v1 regularly as well as nova bomb. Just take your licks like a man.

1 ReplyWell in my experience, you can kill a warlock before he or she unleashes their nova bomb. It's happened to me that's for sure.
