This is for the seemingly new players who do not understand objective game modes.
Objective - a thing aimed or sought at; a goal
I know this is a huge move from Clash, where you are used to camping in corners, but we can get through this together. There are many different steps to playing this incredibly complicated game mode. Let's begin.
1. Stand on a flag until it says captured.
2. Kill people.
DONE! There you have it. One of the most complicated game modes in the gaming industry, explained just for you! I felt the need to make this topic because so many people are struggling.

Yeah it's more than just that.
-
It's the other way around. I've seen videos where teams purposely dont capture anything and still win purely off high kds. All the game modes place kills as top priority
-
Please go to B at the beginning of the match newbs.
-
Whatever you do, under no circumstances should you ever play the objective ever. If any flag is taken I leave the game immediately.
-
That feeling you get when your single handedly capping B and you see teammate after teammate run by like it's clash. It's the worst in the IB almost never run it without a team because of this.
-
So many people have no idea how to play. There is no point in getting 3 zones, its just common sence you can't hold all three zones. Get 2 zones and protect those 2 zones. I don't think people realize you get +50 for 1 zone per kill and +100 for 2 zones and +200 per kill for 3 zones
-
5 RepliesThe killing people is the more important part unless you dont have a flag. i have won many games controlling only one flag because the other team is more focused on capping and holding then killing, when in reality you dont get anything for the captures.
-
1 ReplyMy play style 1. Go to capture point 2. Get shot 3. Nope my way to another point Rinse and repeat.
-
3 RepliesCapture two points. No more, no less. The number of capture points is two, and two is the number of captured points. Three points thou shall not capture, neither shall thou capture one, excepting thou proceed directly to two. Four is right out. 1. Capture two points. 2. Kill stuff.

I find I get killed more stuck to a point, so I partner up and defend them as they cap it. I like having speed and a choice of where. It also is considered team playing for you defend your teammates. I get a forum trolls for doing this, but I don't care, a lot of those I buddied up with openly wait for me before starting the cap and calling the other team.
-
1 ReplyAlso defend the points, catch 2 and then defend Why do players constantly run in circles to each objective
-
Actually... you should find a buddy to follow, or follow your teammates. Capture and defend places together. Then move to the next. Simple, and more efficient than your strategy.

3 RepliesAll you need to do is hold 2 zones and have 2 groups of 3 on each zone, and kill the enemies. Simple!
-
There's more to it than that. So many people still don't know how to flip spawns or that capping the weak point almost always makes you lose.
-
So much like for this! I was playing an iron banner match last night and I'm convinced not one person knew about capturing the zones. How can something so simple be overlooked?
