Iron Banner Medallion Debate
I do like the fact that BUNGIE introduced medallions to discourage a losing team to leave the match but, in my opinion being able to turn in the medallions and getting close to a win in reputation is way much. This much reputation from a medallion makes the Iron Banner Gear less appealing. I don't see the point in busting my butt for 30 wins if an afk'er can get rep for about 28 wins just by losing and winning one match..I believe medallions should give no more 50 percent of rep. I thinks that's enough to encourage to stay but not enough to be on par with a good player.

I agree with you BUT... it comea down to finsing the exact and optimal % the medallions are worth. It needs to be enough to keep players in a losing team but but yet not too much to make the victory and the hard effort involved unnecessary. I believe that 50% might have a hard time keeping players in the game. I know it's half of a full victory and I personally would be okay with that since a loss is a loss but I doubt other players will stay for that. Perhaps 60%is more optimal? I also don't currently know the % worth of a medallion compared to the full rep gain of a victory. Someone fill me in?
