Fastest way to rackup large amounts of glimmer?
Was wondering what you do when in need of a large amount of glimmer fast. I tried something lastnight.
Did the first mission on the moon. Right before the cutscene is over(we woken the hive!) I activate a black wax & take them out. Trying to keep from killing the knight in the process. After I get most of them down, then I let the knight kill me or nade myself to restart.
I got around 1,500 glimmer in under under 10 mins I think but accidently killed the knight when I still had 3mins left.

Get a gatekeeper checkpoint in the raid, go in solo, all enemies have yellow bars, kill them die rinse/repeat

11 RepliesFarm the major/ultra hive in the cosmodrome. They give more glimmer. Use the consumables for more boost as well.

Set it to first level of heroic and you get like 9 majors in the first part of the mission. Kill everything with resupply codes on except for a red health bar centurion. Let him off you and you can kill some more. Depending on how fast you can take out phalanxes, you can be looking at 1000-2000 glimmer every ten minutes or so very easy. He marks it as 10k per hour. YMMV

Ever done the chest run in the Hallows on Mars?? Can make a solid 2000 glimmer in about 10 minutes... Alot of major Cabal, alot of chests with Relic Iron and chance chests with Engrams and Network Keys Just use Resupply Codes and your golden, I am doing it right now, even found a dead dancing Cabal that I recorded, gotta make that glimmer for them Ironbanner fear and weapons ya know

On Mars patrol, go left, through the tunnels on the right after the tunnel is a building. Jump up to the entrance, kill the Cabal there, go in, kill the two Phalanx and two Legionares, go upstairs, kill all the guys, kill the yellow, jump out of the window, go right, jump up to the entrance, kill the Cabal, kill the two Phala... With Glimmer boost, you can constantly make some Glimmer there.
