xyor the unspawnable (A Light in the Dark bounty) broken?
After more then an hour of killing wizards (about 300 kills) and running from Phogoth theres was only one ship and no XYOR to be seen, is it broken?
The only spawns that appear was the wizards from the upper level doors if you went there

Its confirmed you just need to damage Phogoth until the 3rd ship arrives and with it Xyor. thanks hopes this helps, i have now my thorn

3 RepliesEdited by An Actual Noob: 11/23/2014 1:36:27 PMyou must be completely clueless. when you do the bounty, and when you have to kill xyor, it has to say that on the bounty, a lv 26 strike version will appear for the summoning pits, itll have the epic modifier on, wich is basically lots of yellow health shielded knights, now just do the strike like normal and get to phogoth but do NOT kill him, just let him loose and then ships will drop enemies every 3 minutes, xyor is in the 3rd ship, just hide from phogoth until xyor spawns and then kill him, after youve killed xyor your bounty will update and you can leave the strike. THIS DOES NOT WORK ON THE NORMAL SUMMONING PITS STRIKE.

I did this earlier in the week, took us a while to realize you need to take down phogoth's health! Hurt him enough and he'll slam the ground, prompting the drop ships. Just don't kill him!

Damage Phogoth. Are you new to games? They patched it recently but I mean there's really only that option. The adds stop spawning post patch until you damage the boss further. Basic boss mechanics lol

2 Replies300 wizards? That's an exaggeration, you got to kill the knights and acolytes too for the next wave. What method are you using for this part? Are you solo'ing or group?

I did it last night worked fine. I just dropped phogoths health and then the drop ships spawned

And you killed all adds? or did you just sit in the room?

You need to keep 1 person back at all times and send one person in and go behind the back left rock and kill everything that is there. This is not hard and the ships will come. Once the last ship does come Xyor will come to the door with the shrieker .

Some people need to learn the Internet? FFS google it and if you still can't figure it out, actually think. Try doing the strike normally and figure out how to get more ships to spawn? Then recreate that again?

You have to keep lowering his health for new ships to spawn. As he takes a certain amount of damage it will trigger a ship. Then kill everything and damage him again. Ship shows when he has like 1/3 health left.

You have to do it on the 26 version of the strike. Xyor always shows up. You must be doing it on the easier mode trying to cheese.

2 RepliesLol I think they made it to where you need to get phogoth to a certain health % per ship spawn. I did it last night and earlier today to help some friends. Took like 20 minutes each run. Easy!

Contrary to belief, you don't have to hurt Phogoth at all for Xyor to spawn, but you can't sit in the cheese room, otherwise she won't spawn. It goes a wave from the room, then Phogoth gets free, then first ship, room wave, second ship, room wave (Something like 3-4 Wizards, 5-6 knights) then the third ship. You have to kill EVERYTHING in the arena, including those enemies that hide in the far right, who you can't kill in the room.

You went to the right strike didn't you and also you can't just set in the door waiting for him to spawn you have to kill everything to get the ship to spawn in. Usually the third ship is his.

If you focus on killing the enemies that spawn opposite of the entrance xyor should come. There are two sets of enemies that will spawn depending on your location during the fight. These enemies will not trigger xyor The first at the entrance and the second on the upper level to the right of the chamber.

I only got Phogoth to maybe 80% and she still spawned when I was doing the bounty. Just keep killing everything, release phogoth just to be sure, I don't know.

You have to get Phogoth's health down to about a third or maybe 40%. That's when the third Tomb ship comes.

Did you knock phogoths health down? For ships to spawn you have to hurt him and xyor should be on the third ship.

Got to kill the enimies that drop from each ship to get the next ship to come. As soon as u kill the enemies that drop from a ship the next ship will come
