yes , getting to level 4 in iron banner takes a lot longer then to open some chest and push the templar off.
not being sarcastic. it's boots and gauntlets, I've acquired those easily in the raid with little work.
I don't play PVP much, but good luck getting your iron banner to level 4.
might be easier then I think, but it seems like it would take a few days play...

What raid have you been doing? Pushing the Templar off the platform is not like pushing Atheon off. Where one player can do it while the rest of the fireteam hides to keep from drawing its attention. Pushing the Templar off takes just as much team communication and coordination as fighting the Templar the "proper" way. It just simplifies the fight and reduces the number of things shooting at you. But to do it successfully still requires that six people work as a team, and work together to achieve a common goal. Which is why I suspect that Bungie still hasn't patched it. Because it is VERY easy to get killed in that fight if you let yourself get distracted, because you still have a Templar raining fire down on your head, and fast-moving Harpies swirling around you doing the same. Also what raid are you doing where "booda and guantlets are "easily acquired"? I've done a dozen raids between my two warlocks and don't have EITHER of those items. I've got chest armor. A Second Ice Breaker. TWO Patience and Times. TWO Praedyth's Revenges, THREE Corrective Measures, two ships, a sparrow...and a shit load of shards, energies and chatterwhite. Bottomline, the vast majority of people who have multiple pieces of raid armor only have it because they have cleared the Vault of Glass MANY times before finally having those items drop.

Raid is easy, even on Hard, one man can push Templar off.

If you get killed cheesing the Templar you suck lmfao cheesing the Templar is literally the easiest part of the raid. Takes no communication whatsoever other than "are we cheesing him?" "Yeah" "cool" Lmfaoo

I personally haven't...but I've seen others get killed. ..and it happens when they are either rushing the Templar and get shot in the face by it while trying to throw a grenade. Or then get picked off by a Harpy they didn't see because they were focusing on the Templar. They die because of bad luck...not a lack of skill. So save it.

They die because they're stupid not bad luck. They should lot get so close if they're so squishy, at no point does the Templar get so far that you have to rush him so close that you don't have cover. How do you not notice a harpy is shooting you? It takes forever for them to kill you. Long enough to run away or kill them. If you die cheesing the Templar you're bad. No bad luck.

If you say so

Aquired Aethons Epilogue and a fist full of weapons, but zero armour. Im terrible at pvp. I am. I have a ton of fun zerging around and playing fragapooloza. But Im about 1.0 kd... and Im even tempted to farm out something to get me to 30.
