In the new raid the easy mode will be 28 and hard 32

Edited by Moonman: 11/20/2014 2:22:31 PMPvP gear should have been there the first place like in every MMO or any games that pretends to be one. Although it bumps you to lvl 30 it should have a lower defense than PvE gear but better upgrades that help a lot in PvP, or a stat made only for PvP.

Need wambulance bro?
-
They still have to get at least ONE piece of armor from the raid. And with shitty RNG, they might receive each one of the others before the one they actually need. Stop crying; they did this so that unlucky raiders ca finally get that ONE piece they're missing.
-
I agree. Cheap level 30. Bad choice bungie.
-
No they still need a raid chest or helmet to hit 30. The only people who will now be 30 are those who have been unlucky with there drops.

1 ReplyEdited by BiigDaddyDellta: 11/20/2014 2:30:35 AMdone the raid like 15 times normal/hard mixture still not 30 so... I disagree.

3 RepliesI ran the raid four times before I got armor for every slot (except helmet, but I was rocking an Exotic) and a Raid weapon for every slot. Three weeks later, my buddy finally lands the chestpiece and is leveling it up today to get to 30. Raids are still a fun way to get Raid gear, but grinding out PvP matches to get yourself two pieces of gear you'll still have to pay for is earning it just as much as praying that you'll luck out and get some gear in this week's Raid. My 30 wasn't that tough to get. It was just lucky. I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Relax, let the PvP centric folks who can't find five other people to Raid with have their time in the sun.
-
they only did that because they will be bumping the cap up to 32

10 RepliesEdited by eternal_napalm: 11/19/2014 5:03:33 PMWhat you will see in this section is anyone using whatever justification they can to make obtaining their welfare gear seem legit. Reality: they cried vicious rivers of salty tears to Bungie, cried so hard they used entire boxes of tissues, until finally their PVP focused nanny gave them a handout. True story. At least their charity gear is easy to recognize, and is therefore a natural asterisk. Mark my words: they will feel proud and special about it, trying to be in the most visible spot to "show" people how they are 30. But we will see their charity gear! They have no shame in the handout, and will do whatever it takes to justify it in their mind. PC players were right all along. Console kiddies. These players would commit suicide if they played a real MMO

5 RepliesEdited by Legend of Jordy: 11/19/2014 6:44:10 PMYou asked for more diverse level 30s and for Iron Banner to give rewards you'd give a crap about, this is what you get. Besides, Iron banner doesn't give body or helmet.
-
That freaking raid and shards
-
Boo hoo stfu
-
Youl have to explain more ... Cos if your teffeting to iron banner simply having an exotic helmet or chest and banner boots n gauntlets and one other legendary will only put you to level 29 not 30
-
Because the new raid is almost out, chill dude. Everyone knows that there are awful level 30's out there. Easiest way to tell is looking at someone's guns lol
-
Being level 30 won't mean anything when the new expansion comes out so good luck to everyone getting to 30
-
9 RepliesGetting rank 3 in one week in IB is going to take an unreasonable amount of time for most people. Those with less than 12-15 hours of playtime per week will not make it. Those that make it more than deserve the gear. Also you cant make it to 30 with IB gear alone.
-
5 RepliesEdited by shipo: 11/19/2014 5:25:37 PMI'm all for it, God knows how long it would have taken to get my raid gloves. It does mean I'll have to spend all week playing iron banner though. I wanted to get crucible lvl 3 so I could get 77wizard anyway.
-
Grimoire card aquired - level 30 idiot ( see bungie.net for details )
-
Cheap? That's funny, less people will have this gear than raid gear, meaning it will be harder to get than raid gear, so I'm not sure I follow your logic? And why would we need to 'justify' there being gear available through iron banner that can help accomplish the task of getting to level 30. I have to level 28 alts that have been stuck on that level for 5 raids a piece, I've only gotten on piece of raid gear for them each. Is that because I'm bad??? No in fact I carry people through the vault on a consistent basis, but I repeatedly am unlucky in terms of getting gear, so finally now I have a chance to get the last two pieces I need for these characters, so again not sure how this is cheap.
-
You are so dumb you still need 1 piece of gear minimum, if you include an exotic with the 2 pieces of Iron banner gear
-
I'd say the only sad thing about this reality, is that those that have played the raid and have full raid gear, are more than happy to play PvP for these rewards. Therefore all pve fans will have both sets of 30 armor. Where as apparently most pvp players are simply not willing to put the time into getting all the raid gear. I'm hoping getting their hands on 2 more pieces will awaken them into the fact that they should complete the raid in the future, without complaining hopefully

4 RepliesEdited by Guardian Reign: 11/19/2014 4:57:39 PMThis is love / hate for me but I'll give you a good explanation. First off more people will be 30, yes but there are people (such as myself) who have done the raid 100+ times on normal and hard and still don't have a full raid set. So to be able to grab a piece after months of endless hard work isn't too bad. Also you know who else will be level 30, YOUR FRIENDS. Those people who help you through everything including the raid, nightfall and etc...you're going to complain that they'll be 30 now? No, of course not. Its at your benefit. Lastly, the DLC. Its a preparation for what's to come. Also with a known level cap rise coming who cares! Nobody will be 32 right away so 30 becomes irrelevant. Don't get me wrong, I understand your irritation but in reality, it may benefit your playing experience.

If i didnt despise the pvp so much, then id probably use it to get armor. I still have things to do on my alts, so ill skip the event.
-
when destiny 2 rolls around everyone will be auto leveled to 40 so it doesnt really matter
-
Not everyone is a pve player, so I don't see what the problem is. They're putting in just as much effort as any Raid player did.
