Suros and shotguns take over Iron Banner
I was so happy when iron banner came back when I logged on. I equipped my Suros and my noob shotgun right away. Went into the game...... Guess what? EVERYBODY has the same load out as me. Wtf? I still -blam!- people with my suros and all but there's absolutely no variation what so ever. And if there happens to be variation, it's RARE. I don't like that. I'm thinking about taking out my vision of confluence and my light/beware now just to mix it up a little because it feels so bland.

Well the 6 kills I got before I got disconnected by bee... Were a triple kill with a grenade and then I shot a titan out of the air as he tried to jump over me with my not maxed out Dr nope.... Then a few invective melee combo kills

5 RepliesWhy do it on control why not tdm I cant stand that mode im lvl 26 warlock. People have a severe advantage over me im only doing this to get the boots and the arms. I die within a couple of shots. Im sure if advantage wasnt there they would get owned

17 RepliesCouple of hours played in IB last night, rough breakdown of death percentages ( should have kept notes....) 40% - heavy campers / shotguns / supers 30% - suros 10% - melee / fusion rifles 10% - other weapons (they actually exist!) Notable weapons used / not used: 1 x death to red death 1 x death to midda MT 0 x deaths to TLW! 0 x deaths to Thorn 1 x death to FateBringer 3-4 x deaths to other HC Had a large range of data (about 6-7 games) but didn't die hundreds of times each round. The lack of TLW deaths was surprising - according to hundreds of forum posts, it was going to be everywhere! Just interesting to note the rough breakdowns - I used shadow price, the crash (SG) and the Swarm (60 rnd)

3 RepliesThose guns are definitely everywhere but I ran into someone using the Hawkmoon and he was killing it. Then I decided to pull my fully upgraded Hawkmoon out of the vault and its ludicrous. I barley even aim and it downs enemies in two shots. Has this gun always been so effective?

I think otherwise, me and my Red Death are wrecking everyone with shotgun or any other weapon, the only thing you need to do is keep distance, is not that hard.

That's all of PvP anyway, its its not an autorifle its a shotgun. Really happy about that Thorn nerf Bungie. YES IT WAS A NERF BECAUSE IT HAPPENED AND NO ONE HAS ADDRESSED ANYTHING ABOUT A FIX, How could you call it unintential and comepletly ruin hopes and dreams of people who worked really hard for the Iron Banner. All of our progress means absolulty nothing to Bungie, they have to keep their PvP tournament fair for all the low levels who dont have the gun. Its sickening the community is letting Bungie walk all over you. ive been here and supported Bungie sense day 1 but this was the straw the broke the camels back.

15 RepliesEdited by Gizardpuke999: 11/18/2014 10:03:23 PMwhat guns to use in crucible in general: - auto rifles / hand cannons (some, but not all) - shotguns / fusion guns - heavy machine guns rocket launchers, pulse rifles, scout rifles, sniper rifles, and most hand cannons are extremely ineffective in the crucible in comparison to the above. all guns need to be effective, to give people decent variety of what to use. but the maps dont allow it. they are too confined and cramped, with little to no places to cammo out and camp. not only that, but the suros, as 2 damage increase afixes. even the Atheons Epilogue is not that good in there compared to the suros, and thats a pretty good gun. everyone might as well be wearing bright pink shaders on a white background.

2 RepliesMy fully upgraded Comedian still takes a Melee hit after I shoot them point blank, I don't know what the problem there is. And Suros is just a straight up PvP Beast, I love it, especially when someone tries to rush you with The Last Word and they get shut down immediately.
