Honestly, I don't fully agree with point #1. Level matters, yes, but coming from first hand experience, level 26 is just fine for normal vog. The first time I did it I was in a group with 4 26's, and while it took us about four hours over two days, most of that was us learning the fights. I understand making the raid easier by being a higher level than the enemies you fight; but if we listed that as a requirement, nobody would EVER do the hard mode. Because it's impossible to be level 30 before entering it. And it is also currently impossible to be higher level than 30. By all means, cut players for being too low. But having players at 26 doesn't make it impossible, hell, doesn't even make it that much harder. I've even been in a successful run with a 25, even though he was compensated by two 29's.

  • You can be 30 without hard mode three pieces of raid armor and exotic helmet. Also now with IB gear you can get to 30 with that the raid chest and an exotic so theirs lots of ways to make 30 now.

  • Up until recently anyway, in regards to the iron banner. And I forgot about exotic helms, so that's correct there too. The point is, he's listing being level 27 as a requirement to even consider doing the raid for the first time, when it simply isn't so.
