I have been looking everywhere in Destiny for Pokemon, and alas, all I have found is a couple of guys trying to sell me Del Taco coupons underneath the Cosmodrome. Cosmodome? Chipotle? The fact of the matter is, we good people of the Xbox community are stuck in a situation where we pay more for less. DeeJ, do you have any idea how that makes me feel? You're the reason I dress up in my mothers lingere and try to seduce my father! How about fixing the freakin' bounties for Iron Banner. WTH do u consider close quarters melee?? As a gunslinger, if I see my tag followed by the "fist" symbol, followed by my enemie's tag,that means "Melee Kill:" I have 5 or six in one match alone today and my bounty counter said "1". I get 5 more across my next two matches, and my counter now reads "3" If I see "melee kill" in my personal kill feed on screen, why isn't the counter going up? I am tired of these bounties that don't deliver.

Iron banner is meant to be fun..not just a chore to get good gear, don't play crucible for the rewards play it because it's something you find fun and enjoyable

I made myself a promise a couple of weeks ago that if I didn't get my full raid armour by the time DA:I came out, after spending numerous prior weeks attempting to get it, I'd be quitting Destiny for good. Having tried making an alt to increase my chances (all the while dealing with those pesky continually unpatched VoG glitches), to say nothing of the endlessly repeated smear of paper-thin content that forms the game as a whole, this seemed more than reasonable. It would give me two raid lock-outs to finally hit 30 on at least one of my chars. So did I get the gear and did this final run around the Bungie rat-maze work out for me? Did it -blam!-... Consequently I have indeed quit. And as a result I've rediscovered something wonderful that I've been missing since the start of September: that is, genuinely satisfying and entertaining gaming. I've spent the last couple of days on GTAV and FA4 and I can only describe the sensation of exploring the characters, stories and truly open worlds in both to be like drinking down ice-cold water after being parched. Equally, after becoming so obsessively fixated on the tedious RNG BS of Destiny, it has also been sweet to come back to the rather more straightforward equation of 'effort equals reward' not 'effort earns you a chance to play roulette' as my progress through both games has been exactly that - progress. Never once have I felt like pulling out my hair due to either game offering me desirable things then cheating from getting them, no matter how hard I try to succeed. It has been an utter relief with no sense of expected Destiny withdrawal whatsoever. Sudden detox = instant cure. Similarly, another major relief was how my decision to leave Destiny has been met by friends/clanmates still slogging-on with the game. It's no understatement to say that the pressure cooker atmosphere of addictive/obsessive loot-grinding also creates a kind of cultic mindset in the players (just check the 'one-of-us'/'burn the heretic' responses from the glassy eyed Bungie slaves to any critical posts on here). I was worried I'd be met with the same but that hasn't been the case at all. It transpires that lots of people on my friends list are likewise getting close to the point I reached on Monday/are there already. As for the rest it seems they're only continuing in the hope that things will suddenly improve, that the RNG nonsense will be miraculously fixed and that Bungie will rework this game into something satisfying and rewarding to play. So it's for them (or people like them) I've written this, as I have some unpleasant news which I can only offer bluntly: It ain't gonna happen. The upcoming DLC will be, if anything, worse than the core game. An even thinner smattering of content will have to suffice for almost another 3 months with yet more people stuck, frustrated and obsessed as they keep running full-tilt into the unnecessary and arbitrary brick wall that Bungie places in the way of fair progress. The grind will take-on monumental proportions as a consequence - and not just for people suffering now. It will be interesting to see how various smug postees, who have fallen lucky on drops this time around, react when that luck runs out for them. I would bet they'll be the first coming online to complain, just like the people they apparently enjoy sneering at and spitting on here who are justifiably complaining now. So to repeat, the DLC is going to make things worse and no amount of free sparrows or better-late-than-never chat will put it right. Destiny is rotton right through the middle so cosmetic changes cannot improve it. The only thing to do if you've got any sense (I only just got mine back) is get the hell out of this damn game! If you're one of the people stuck like me then, really, just do it - go. There are much better games and you'd be wiser to cut your losses now. Likewise, if you're one of the people who hasn't yet been burned or depressed by Destiny then trust me - you probably will be and sooner than you think. It was designed to do exactly that, to artificially extend its playing time by hobbling progress, so why not save yourself the grief? Again, there are simply better games out there. Ones that that won't make you replay the same crap over and over again while sending some vile, self-satisfied corporate suck-up like Deej to spout horse manure at you via a shoddily designed app. In any case, midnight tomorrow, I'll be watching my PS4 download Dragon Age at the point of UK release and opening-up yet another massive world full of story, character, adventure, etc, to say nothing of the budget purchase I intend to make of AC next month (2nd hand ofc as I won't support any company peddling micro-transactions) with yet more story, character and content. This gives me literally 100s of hours of gaming to work at - none of which will thankfully involve The Nexus or The Arkon Priest. I suggest you do the same or something akin to it. Destiny is poisonous and you're better off without it. This is the best advice I can give you - bin it and come outside for some cleaner air. Cheers!

So everyone agreed the queen event was stupid and pointless leaving the Iron Banner as the only good event... But not for long... You clowns not only made the gear no better than vanguard gear (which, as you can see, is what we're all complaining about) but you also brought my IB rank back down to a -blam!-ing zero!! Hahaha -blam!- you too Bungie! Do you know how to do anything right?! SERIOUSLY?!! Do you?! Now as I explore your game like I would at a lame amusement park, the iron banner will be that stupid antique car ride no one wants to go on because in the end it wasn't even fun therefore a waste of time! This is a great way to treat your loyal fans after we bought every -blam!-ing halo and every -blam!-ing DLC. Seriously I am almost done with this game but I am in disbelief that Destiny could get so bad that it drops all of its fans. God.. I'm done! That's my voice.

As much as I like the Iron Banner, are they ever going to bring back the Queen's bounties, or just bring something else entirely? It would be nice to see something new, besides the new expansion that is.

Played Destiny it okay other than a bunch of errors, cheater, and lagging. wish they would make trading stuff on it because I have no use for hunter and titan equipment.
