Fix using multiple characters for more coins.
Dear Bungie,
I would like to ask if you are going to release a patch for using multiple characters of the same class to get easy coins. I believe that it should be considered the same as knocking off a boss. It would be a simple fix as you could just make it impossible to put strange coins and motes of light into a vault. This method has been guaranteeing people exotics from xur for too long by simply grinding another character to 20 and passing gear back and forth. Please fix this soon.
Edit: I do realize some people use different classes and do multiple weekly and nightfalls and deserve their coins, and it was my fault for saying no coin trading at all. I still believe there should be some way to stop people from using the same class and just swapping the armor, because then it isn't putting in work, it is doing the same mission the exact same way as the first time. Also, even though I expected hate, there is really no reason for name calling or foul language, you could just say that you disagree and why, kind of similar to how I wrote something I think is wrong with the game and why. That isn't whining. It's feedback and its some thing Bungie wants us to give to them.

If you do a strike three times, you do the work three times and also three times the prize. In what way does this alter your game experience? People are not able to sell anything not even glimmer to each other. This is not a competition in gear grinding. If you want competition go to the crucible.

You know the characters don't have to be the same class to do this. They can be transferred between any characters. Secondly why should my progress be slowed because other players don't have as much time as me. It is ridiculous to think that my progress in a game should restricted based on the lowest common denominator. Now before you tell me to grow up and move out of my mom's basement. I get time restrictions. I live on my, own pay my own bills, go to school, and run my own business and I have found time to build up 2 characters (woulda done three just lost interest). So I must say I COMPLETELY DISAGREE (uppercase letters are simply for emphasis not intended to be rude).

2 RepliesI have three characters. One of each class. Two at 30 and one at 29. I worked my ass off to get them there and for all the coins I earn and share between them. You sir need to stop whining because you are one of the people who created one character and are too damn lazy to grind out another one. You don't get as much because you don't do as much. Suck it up buttercup. Bungie listening to whining crying bitches who want everything handed to them is the reason they are -blam!-ing up this game with half of the changes they make.

Get your own 3 toons done and see if you don't pass stuff back n forth cos you will I move my weapons and my coins I've one of each class but if others want to play as one with 3 toons it's there game and up to them. Don't try drag everyone down cos you ain't willing to run story again having redo that story another 2 times was hard because some of it sucks so bad bungie made it this way it's away to reward the guys/gals that will grind it up and be hardcore but also away for casuals to get exotics every two weeks if they do weekly one that is. Man get a day off work or what ever n just power run the story you'll soon have a second 20+ and coins coming out your ears You can then buy a ton of heavy ammo like me :) lol

There is nothing wrong with using multiple characters to gain coins. You get 9 from the weekly no matter what character you play. 1 weekly, 3 characters, 9 coins per run = 27 coins a week.

If you think about the work people spend on secondary characters people play more and are more likely to play. Therefore the nerf of that would decrease players on and would also have no need for a vault and a hard worked secondary character . Try making another character and u will find the benefits. Also it does no harm to any other players in pvp situations

It takes more effort to level 3 characters right? People who have three characters put forth the effort to do so and therefore have the opportunity for better rewards if they can finish the weeklies with all of their characters. You have the exact same access to create three characters as everyone else does.

Regardless of how they decide to use the three character slots it's not hurting you or hindering your gameplay. It's only ensuring that they have enough strange coins every week to buy something from Xur. It's your own fault for not leveling another toon to do the same. Once you hit the lvl 29 barrier what else is there besides raiding for lvl30? Hence the creation of multiple toons.

That is ridiculous. If a person wants to spend the time to level up another character in order to get a mere extra 9 coins a week let them. If u dont have the patience or time then stop trying to ruin it for the rest of us that do!

That's the point you can only trade with yourself. You can't trade with any body else so why be jealous of people trading between there own characters . I Mean be mad about the real stuff bro. Not because you can't afford exotics. Be mad about having someone on you're team sit in a corner and only get shot on crucible and getting an exotic while you came in first and got absolutely nothing .
