I did pretty much the same thing for my invective and bad juju, finishing up thorn pvp part still. I am not a crucible fan and would never have played it if not for exotic bounties. My only complaint for thorn pvp bounty is that it forces us to use weapons we maybe wouldn't use due to needing void damage and the points deduction for dying. I will still get it done but it just makes something that is already I unenjoyable to me even more aggravating.

  • I think the most depressing thing about the Thorn bounty is the loss of points for dying. I find from reading other posts, that it is also the thing that causes people to abandon the bounty more than any other. If they would remove the penalty for dying, even if they increased the number of points needed, it would reduce the rate at which people abandon this bounty. I know the penalty for dying was the reason I've dropped the bounty twice. It makes the grind for the number of necessary points slow to worse than a crawl...

  • Unfortunately the game is really 2 games and neither one was really good enough to warrant putting time into both. Bungie could have done something unique and special with this game but instead dropped the ball on all aspects. It's story is full of holes the raid is full of bugs the pvp isn't all that great and far from enjoyable. They could have kept it more pve with a multiplayer twist like have two teams battle thru sections of the raid to see who can get done faster or with less lives lost. They patch things without fixing known issues that are much more important , they nerf the hardest to get and what should be the best gun in the game due to crybabies and a game mode that wasn't needed in the first place, it's not CoD or Halo it's Destiny but just feels like another run of the mill game where the suits made the choices instead of the designers and programmers and more importantly gamers.
