So, as much as I hate the Crucible; I finally completed the Bad Juju Exotic Bounty last night. I know people write about how they keep abandoning the bounties due to the Crucible requirement, and I can't say that I blame them. I've done it several times myself. The Crucible (for people who are PvE centered) is horrible and unwanted. But I crushed out the entire 10,000 points worth of Crucible kills in just four hours last night. I found an easy way to do it, at least as far as the Bad Juju bounty is concerned. 1) Get your weapon of choice. I prefer an Auto Rifle or Scout Rifle for the Crucible, and 'Atheon's Epilogue' came in very handy (with the Void damage, AE is also a great choice [if available] for the Thorn bounty). 2) The Control game type I found is the way to go. The nature of the gameplay (having to capture territories) forces your enemies into confined locations. Using a grenade and/or Super that has a wide, sustained area of damage will generally knock out several enemies at once, making the crunch for points-from-kills go quite a bit faster. 3) While in Control, help your team keep at least a two-territory advantage. Winning the match and the points for territory captures are not important to the bounties in any way. However; having your team control two points (at a minimum) forces the other team to come to one of two areas and gather close together. This leads back to the second point I made in that all you have to do is sit and wait, and your enemies come right to you. Set up an ambush. While I know that this is focused more towards Bad Juju, but also can be adapted easiest to the Thorn bounty, I feel that with a bit of advice we can help the rest of the community get through the Exotic bounties in a manner that won't be too soul-crushing or depression inducing.
