I got hate mail for using Thunderlord.
So i grabed some Heavy ammo and went on a 10 kill streak with the Thunderlord. Then someone finally kills me and tea bags me. So next time i killed him, i danced and went on as normal. And then i get a personal attack message... [quote]you arent good, queer. keep camping with only heavy, pussy warlock[/quote] Because standing still even for a second is... "camping"

I love telling hate mailers to stop absorbing my bullets. Or act offended that they died to you so many times because you wanted to kill other people too. It hasn't happened yet in Destiny for me but it always eventually does.

1 ReplyThis game is in no way fair. Personally, I dislike it However, that is the Destiny playstyle. Abuse specials and heavy weapons, grenades and supers. Similar to the halo style of play where everyone just bunny hops and grabs the best weapon available.

2 RepliesThere is no winning man. I got hate mail once for killing a couple dudes with a hand cannon, then again for using vision of confluence. Some people just take the game too seriously. Just take the hate mail as a signal that you're doing something right.

it infuriates me when i run around a corner to someone who is just sitting there with a shotgun, but i have never thought of sending someone hate mail, it's just a game... it seems like wayyyy too much effort to do that

"camping"[/quote] Screw him. You can also thank the wonderful exotic bounties for people laying back, which can be perceived as "camping". Thunderlord and Swarm are pretty bad ass as well

1 ReplyI'll admit I can be like that at times. Certain weapons really piss me off (like Hawkmoon and Gjallarhorn) but I'm assuming you were just running around with TL wrecking face? I actually have found that camping in this game is far less prevalent than other shooters I've played overall and it's a huge relief. Sounds like that guy was just bad though. Honestly, so many people who play this STILL don't bother controlling the map. When you hear Shaxx say "heavy ammo inbound" DROP WHATEVER THE BLAM YOU'RE DOING AND SECURE THE NEAREST SPAWN! Games are literally won or lost purely by which team capitalizes on the heavy ammo. I dunno how many times I've seen moronic team mates just ignore it and then literally 1 guy on the other team goes and grabs the box when my mates could have secured it, and proceeds to go on a tear. There's no fixing stupid :/

I got hate mail over the weekend for not accepting a random players invite to go on a hard raid with him.

Just keep doing what you do, and carry on as if they aren't even there. Unless they're trying to kill you in pvp. In that case kill them or try to.
