Well for those of you with Netflix I recommend watching Mr Untouchable thats about Harlem in the 60s early 70s and also Crips vs Bloods it gives a very good background on why L.A. became the gang infested city that it once was/is. Also American Gangster thats very loosely based on Frank Lucas and how he hid heroin in the coffins of dead U.S. soldiers. Id really like to find more documentaries/books-biographies on the Italian Mafia pre-1970s. Also something I never see as an American is there any Asian gangs currently or in their history that shaped their country/government into what it is today?
