once iron banner drops and reaching lvl 30 will be based on skill instead of luck, will you respect lvl 30s more?
i will. its so good that reaching the level cap will no longer be stuck behind a luck wall. hitting 30 will be a lot more respectable because it was done with skill in the crucible, not luck like it is now.

2 RepliesWhy should I respect the number 30 anymore than the number 29, or even 5? Ive witnessed great levels 30s lead by example. With patience and guidance. They use their number to help others achieve new heights. Ive watched egotistical, selfish 30s, who stand at the warsat, don't fire a shot, and hope the others defend successfully so he/she can get shards. Ive seen level 15's put out more effort for their comrades than some of the so-called elite. That number beside your name doesn't make you a respected Guardian. You're actions make you a respected Guardian. Ill respect the level 29, who risks their ass to save another, over the tea bagger 30 who points and dances. And even if the number 30 should equate to auto-respect, soak in your glory quick. In a month your 30 will no longer be the summit.

No...i hit 30 from the raid before lvl 30 iron banner gear was out...fake 30 scrubs......nice necro to whoever did it :) [spoiler]i never cared about iron banner 30s...meant for a smoother hard vog run[/spoiler]

So your telling me someone can go 2 and 15 in an ib match and your team still wins, earn the rep and eventually buy the gear to reach 30..? Sounds like that takes alot of "skill". When the hell is this community going to get the point, in any and every mmorpg game with an rng looting system, youll never fully earn your gear. Its 75% luck and a 25% grinding process. Until everyone understands, this community will comtinue to be a shit show.

People haven't noticed that once the iron banner gives lvl 30 gear the new dlc will be out and 32 will be the new max

Skill in the crucible? You mean having a suros or last word right? Your argument is invalid. 30 is respectable just don't be a bitter little asshole cause in my 20 raid runs I finally got the full raid set.

Iron banner has nothing to do with skill, it is much more about luck. Also you can't get to 30 from IB alone you still need raids...

Idk about respecting other 30's. I'm a level 30 hunter with every piece of raid gear. Until I see what the new Iron Banner is all about, I'd have to say that the ones doing the raid countless times to get to 30 are more respectable. That damn RNG...
